  1. Hi, I've been wondering this for years and never managed to figure it out. Is there a way to get WhatPulse running on Unraid? WhatPulse, for those unfamiliar, is an "application that measures your keyboard/mouse usage, down- & uploads and your uptime." https://whatpulse.org/ My download stats have languished since building my Unraid server since all my downloads go through it instead of my Windows machines now. Has anyone managed to figure it out?
  2. Transferring key to new device - did that a few weeks ago, the problem went away until today. Different USB port - also did that, albeit to a USB3 port. I'll switch it to a USB2 port this evening. Flash remount - will also install that this evening. In the meantime, it happened again. This time, I grabbed the diagnostics. samaritan-diagnostics-20220215-1605.zip
  3. Hi, Over the last few months, I have an intermittent issue with a "missing key file" Normal behaviour: Server runs 24/7, using a Sandisk USB for boot, a random old drive to start the array, and a bunch of 3TB WD Reds in a zpool. When I log in to the dashboard, I have a dark theme and all the pages work as expected. Problematic behaviour: Every now and then, I'll log into the dashboard to start or stop a container. When I get to the login page, it's a white background instead of my dark theme. When I login, my dark theme is replaced with the stock white theme The server information in the top right says "Unraid OS - Missing key file" The dashboard has a bunch of php errors relating to docker The docker tab is absent, but the containers are still running The log usage shows 100% but when I try to open the log (logging.htm) the page just loads and timeouts eventually. When I reboot, everything is back to normal, until the next time it (seemingly randomly) happens. I thought the boot USB was dying, so I replaced it. The problem went away for a few weeks, but now it's back again. What steps do I need to take to diagnose it and fix it for good? This system has been rock-steady for years up until a few months ago and I'd like to get it back to being stable. Edit: Syslog - I'll have to capture that the next time it happens. Unfortunately, I have no idea when it's going to happen. Before I replaced the USB, it would happen almost daily. Since replacing it a few weeks ago, this is the first occurrence. With the last USB, it progressively got worse until I had to shutdown with the power button because none of the controlled shutdown (ui, remote ssh, or local terminal) were actually shutting the system down. 4. You left your username and password in the log file.
  5. Bumping this. rTorrent and qBittorrent both get full speeds, but deluge won't.
  6. The extractor plugin is already there, you just need to manually enable it in the conf file. See Q4 https://github.com/binhex/documentation/blob/master/docker/faq/delugevpn.md
  7. Any ideas from anyone? I've just tried rTorrent, and it's the same story - it works and hits high 30MiB/s downstream, but deluge still won't even start downloading if I disable utp, and is extremely slow when I enable it.
  8. Thanks binhex, I was just typing a reply to say it's because of utp. I tested with qbittorentvpn with utp enabled and disabled and it used 90% of my bandwidth with utp disabled. However... I've added the ltconfig plugin, unticked enable_incoming_utp and enable_outgoing_utp, and I'm getting some interesting results. For reference, the torrent and the docker host, and the VPN server are always the same in all tests. Figures below are the peak speeds. Qbittorrent (VPN UDP Profile) UTP Disabled: 39MiB/s UTP Enabled: 1.2MiB/s Deluge (VPN UDP Profile) UTP Disabled: 0MiB/s (does not download at all) UTP Enabled: 1.4MiB/s Deluge (VPN TCP Profile) UTP Disabled: 0MiB/s UTP Enabled: 2.4MiB/s * UTP Disabled = "enable_incoming_utp" and "enable_outgoing_utp" both unticked. ltConfig is set to "apply settings on startup" and the container is restarted between each test.
  9. I'm having the same problem on an even bigger scale. I set up delugevpn using a nordvpn udp profile and tested with a ubuntu torrent. With the VPN active, I saw peak speeds of 1.6MiB/s though it mostly stayed around half that. With the VPN deactivated, I can hit 30-40MiB/s - the bandwidth usage with the VPN activated is barely noticeable in contrast to the spikes with the VPN off. I switched servers (from one NordVPN P2P UDP server to another) and there's no change. Any advice or guidance on how I can improve the downstream speed?
