  1. hmm, seems like the /mnt/user doesn't get created, why would that be? Should I just re-create the mariaDB container? Mar 16 17:43:30 Tower logger: MariaDB: Error response from daemon: Cannot start container MariaDB: lstat /mnt/user: no such file or directory time="2015-03-16T17:43:30-07:00" level="fatal" msg="Error: failed to start one or more containers"
  2. hello, I suddenly couldn't copy data to my array and eventually the server stopped responding, I tried to stop the array and unmounts the disks via console but I couldn't establish a session so I had to power down. After reboot, while the parity check is running, I can't seem to get my mariaDB docker image started and still cant copy data to my array. I guess is all related to these "Broken pipe" errors? thanks for reading and all the help! 3. thanks for the replies, I'll try to re-create the container I was wondering if someone could post a screenshot of their plex container configuration, perhaps it would be easier to follow.
  4. these are dumb question I'm sure: - how do I point Plex to the appropriate media folders on my server? I tried to map the folders by UNC, SMB or IP in case it can't resolve the host name, but the library does not populate. Is there a specific way the folders have to be mapped or is this a permission issue? I don't have user shares enabled on the server. When using the "browse for folders" it only shows local folders of... the image Plex is running within the Docker container? - I have a MariaDB hosting SQL library that XBMC clients are using, is there a way to share it with Plex? If someone is aware of a Plex within Docker guide, I'd be more than happy to look at it. All I've found were just bits and pieces from when Docker wasn't integrated with the current gui. thanks, sorry if these are stupid questions, I'm quite new to Linux
  5. Not saying there isn't a bug, but did you follow through the troubleshooting link in the error message to see if there was something you could do differently to possibly either get it to work, or get a different error code? https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78754 yes I did, according to the error message generated by google this really is an authentication error. Funny enough, later on the day I have received a "blocked login attempt" notification from Google on my personal email, apparently the logon attempt was blocked despite the proper password/account combination. Looks like the way unraid logs in via SMTP doesn't hold up to the security standards google requires: Sign-in attempt details Date & Time: Monday, 5 January 2015 01:13:10 o'clock UTC Location: ************** Canada If this wasn't you Please review your Account Activity page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/activity to see if anything looks suspicious. Whoever tried to sign in to your account knows your password; we recommend that you change it right away. If this was you You can switch to an app made by Google such as Gmail to access your account (recommended) or change your settings at https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps so that your account is no longer protected by modern security standards. 6. just wondering if there is an actual bug with the SMTP setup via Dynamix in 6b12. I have tried with 3 different email accounts from gmail and hotmail without even being able to get the test email. the furtherst I was able to get was to failed Athentication error, however I'm quite sure the password is correct. 7. thank you, that was helpful. The array came up and is running a parity check right now.
  8. thank you, I just want to make sure the data will stay intact. if that's the case, would this be the proper course of action? 1. booting up the server 2. assigning the data drive to the data slot 3. start the array 4. validate the content 5. stopping the array 6. assigning the parity drive to the parity slot 7. starting the array 8. watching the parity being rebuild
  9. hello, I'd like to replace current flash drive that has 5.0.rc12 with a bigger flash drive and the newer 5.0.6. I didn't want to copy the config folder over from the old drive as there was a lot of clutter from various plugins. The only files i copied were disk.cfg, ident.cfg, network.cfg and share.cfg. The old configuration had parity drive, data drive and another unassigned data drive. The server comes up just fine, however when I try to assign the data disk to the proper slot, it is picked up with a blue dot and not a green one as when I stop the old array. I'd like to know if that's normal and I should just start the array, make sure the data is there and the re-assign the parity disk to the proper slot later.
  10. thanks for your reply, yes, I tried to boot the server from the updated drive with no success, then as per wiki, i re-run the batch file to make the drive bootable however that didn't help. At this point I'm just considering to start fresh.
  11. hello, I'm trying to upgrade from 5.0-rc12a to the 5.0.6 however after replacing the 3 files as per 5.0-rc9 through 5.0-rc16c section of this wiki article http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrade_Instructions, the server doesn't come up. I'm running headless and don't have an external screen handy to check where it fails. I was able to reverse back to rc12 from a backup I created earlier however I'd like to know: - is it worth troubleshooting if I only have few plugins installed? - if I wanted to start fresh, will my array and network configuration be easy to replicate? Will I be able to just copy the Configuration folder over to the new flash drive? thanks in advance
