  1. Running a HP N40L microserver, so took the USB stick off the motherboard port and plugged it into one of the four ports on the front. Seeing USB device errors but they go by too quick to isolate. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Sandisk USB stick less than a year old, no issues whatsoever previous to the 6.1.3 upgrade attempt and the stick is readable and appears completely error free when I plug it into my Mac. I know this sounds stupid, but it really does look like the stick contents I see on the Mac aren't what is seen on the N40L. Look at my previous screenshots. Ideas please?
  2. Have attached a monitor and KB and tried booting in safe mode to no avail. GUI does not start, contents of the boot USB only show an ssh folder, not as per what was displayed in the otehr screenshot on my Mac. Is there anyway I can isolate the output where it probes the USB device during boot? Umm, halp please?
  3. Then there is something else going wrong. If you have console (or telnet) access perhaps you should run the command ls -l /boot/config to confirm that the content agrees with what you see when you look at the USB stick under Windows, It could also be worth booting in safe mode (from the boot menu) to see if that makes a difference - it is possible that you have a plugin installed that is not compatible with this release? It doesn't appear that the contents of the boot USB are the same in the unRAID box as opposed to the earlier screenshot on my Mac. I've no idea why that would be unless it's some kind of permisssions issue? Screenshots attached. Archive.zip
  4. Thanks for your reply. The USB appears fine and the config folder has content.
  5. Hi all, Upgraded via the reommended method, all appeared OK, running headless, couldn't ping or telnet, can now post reboot but no luck bringing up the GUI. Have tried the recently posted shutdown commands to no avail. Help greatly appreciated! tower-diagnostics-20151118-0448.zip
  6. Hi all, Hope I'm posting this in the right place. Been running 6.0.1 for a while with no issues but as of the last few weeks, SABnzbd has been very unstable; either grabbing 2-3 files max from the queue and stalling and bringing the entire unRAID UI to a halt or refusing to start/restart the SABnzbd plugin. Seeing this error trying restart: Starting SABnzbd... PID not created, application did not start for some reason ... Start Failed Info as follows and diagnostics zip is attached. Dependencies: Python Version:2.7.10 SQLite3 Version:3.7.17 UnRAR Version:5.01 InfoZip Version:6.00 Par2CMDLine Version:0.4 Information: Total Storage Usage: 21 MB Install Directory: 21 MB Your config data will persist after a reboot Plugin Version: 2015.07.28.1 Any help is much appreciated, thanks! John

  8. Disabling SABnzbd did the trick, thanks muchly Influencer! Is there a specific version of unRAID and/or SABnzbd I can run that won't have this issue?
  9. Yep, all things network and the disk itself appear OK, however this is what I'm seeing (attached)
  10. Hi all, Excuse the extreme newbie post, I'm still testing 5.0b14 in a HP Proliant 240L and am not running multiple drives as yet. Had a power outage last night and was able to spin down and shut down unRAID with no apparent problems as it was on my UPS. Upon restarting, the disk is identified correctly with no errors and in green but the array cannot be started. A full reboot of the box hasn't helped and I feel (perhaps incorrectly) that the disk ( 1 x 250Gb) is still spun down. Syslog attached. Appreciate your help. Thanks! syslog.txt
