Immich access problem
Thanks for that info. I've (hopefully correctly) changed the settings, but... Network IP is 192.168.0.17 for everthing on this PC/unRAID setup DOCKER Settings: 'Host access to custom networks' was set to 'Disabled' - now changed 'Preserve user defined networks' was set to 'No' - now changed. Full screen dump of Docker settings below. IMMICH Settings: Network type is Bridge Changing the WebUI setting to 192.168.0.17:8080 gives me 'http://192.168.0.17/192.168.0.17:8080' - see screen dump below NB: I changed both WebUI settings available in the Advanced View (the one under 'Icon URL' and the one for the container port), both individually and separately with the same result. "...which will add the docker web ui option to open the immich web ui..." This has always been available, but just opens a new window with the 404 error. Full screen dump of Immich settings below I hope this might give a clue as to why? Thanks again, Magani

Immich access problem
Thanks for the guide, bmartino1, but I got rather lost. I think I'll just stick with accessing it directly from my browser as I know that works. Cheers, Magani

Immich access problem
I've recently added a backup server, and have installed immich (and associated PostgreSQL) on it. It was done by following AlienTech42's guide on YouTube, as I had done previously (and successfully) on my 1st unRAID server. However, when I try to access it via a WebUI link from either the Docker Containers on the Dashboard page, or directly from the Docker tab, I get a '404 Not Found' error page (with a small 'nginx' under it). Looking at the URL in the browser, this comes up with http://192.168.0.17/8080'. Obviously (?) it should be '...0.17:8080', but I cannot find anywhere in the Edit section of immich to change this setting. If I go into my browser and type the correct URL '192.168.0.17:8080' into it, immich works as advertised, I just can't access it from within unRAID. Any ideas as to why unRAID should change a colon for a slash in the URL? The only other accessible Docker I have running on this server is binhex-krusader, and it puts the correct colon and port in the URL. No other Dockers use port 8080. Currently on unRAID 7.2.3, but it was also happening on 7.2.2 before the update. Thanks, Magani unbackup-diagnostics-20251220-1044.zip

Reboot causes some/all VMs and Dockers to disappear.
Thanks, Jorge. Good idea. (I actually thought I'd done that before, but ???)

Reboot causes some/all VMs and Dockers to disappear.
Hi, I have started to have this problem. After just about every reboot recently, I lose some Dockers and some (sometimes all) VMs from my unRaid installation. I really don't know how long this has been going on, as the system has been stable for ages. I only noticed it when going from 7.1.? to 7.2.0. At that point I figured I'd done something silly, so I reinstalled all the Dockers and VMs manually. All the original files, etc, in the VMs were as they should be after it was reinstalled. For example, after reinstalling VM for Win 11 Pro, all I had to do was go through the initial installation in 'Add a VM', and it was all back again. I didn't actually have to go through MSFT's installation. It was as if unRaid had lost the link between the VM and its .img. The same thing happened with Win 10 Pro, and 2 x Linux distros in the 1st reboot. Although I suspect not documented on the Diagnostics file, I had earlier installed Immich as per SpaceInvader / AlienTech42 YT videos, and it had been working fine. After the 1st reboot/reinstallation, all the photos were still there in their appropriate folders, but after the 2nd reboot instance days later, the share folder was there, but empty. As I figured it was going to happen again (and I wasn't disappointed!), I took a couple of screen shots both before and after. The docker 'vm_custon_icons' was lost, but 'HomeAssistant_inabox' reappeared (Interesting, as I had deleted it a week or so back and thought I had removed all trace of it.). Fix Common Problems says everything is OK from its point of view. Photo 1: S/shot of Fix Common Problems - 'No errors' Photo 2: S/shot of MC showing all the VM directories with VMs recently used and still there. Photo 3: S/shot of dashboard after reboot showing the single VM left, and some original Dockers, and the unrequested reappearance of HomeAssistant_inabox. Photo 4: S/shot of dashboard before reboot showing what was installed before the intentional reboot. While I consider myself reasonably well versed in PC stuff, server idiosyncrasies are outside my area of expertise, so.... Help? Thanks, Magani. No mouse wheel scroll in VMs
Hi, I've been running 6.8.x and now 6.9.1. The problem is that in all my VMs (Win 7, 10, Ubuntu and Linux Mint 20) and binhex-Krusader (and there may well be others) there is no response to my mouse's scroll wheel. The mouse movements as well as mouse clicks all work fine. I'm using a Logitech Unifying keyboard and mouse (K850/M720). If I check the 'Logitech Unifying Receiver (046d:c52b)' checkbox in the VM config page, then apply and restart the VM, I get no mouse click response at all. I have also tried to install the Logitech utility into the Win 10 VM, but not surprisingly it can't find any hardware. All ideas welcome. Cheers, Magani.
