  1. I have been wondering on Community Applications tab, is there a way to view all the applications by ranking? You can see specific app ranking by clicking on app. and that's about it. Thanks in advance!
  2. figure out the issue, it appears to be a faulty wattage meter. I bought a new one. It's showing correct power usage now. Thanks All! Please close this thread.
  3. Do you recall it was just plug and go? or did you have to tweak some settings? I have a Single SAS cable connected to 4 SATA drives. Once I did that, it jumped from 45w to 120w usage. Thanks!
  4. Hi All, not sure where to post this. I assume a lot of people here is using LSI 9207-8i to connect hard drives. If you do, please take a look and check out my findings. Before I installed the SAS Host controller card, my system is running about 45w on average. I have 4 SATA hard drive connected. Afterward, it is running about 120 w on average. So the LSI 9207-8i using 75w by itself when it's at idle. I have verified this as I can see all my drives are on standby. Looking at newegg site for description of LSI 9207-8i, It claimed "PCI Power (Nominal): 9.8W" https://www.newegg.com/lsi00301-sata-sas/p/N82E16816118182 Can someone else have the same card take a look at their system and let me know if yout card is running around 9.8w on average. Or is there something I am not setting correctly. Thanks!
  5. Ok. got it. Just in case if I add another ssd to the existing pool in the future, then I will need to reformat my "cache" to "btrfs"? lol, this could be painful. btrfs is stable enough compare to xfs these days? Also I recall there was an issue with 6.8.3 with too many cache write. This is the reason I went with 6.9 beta Thanks!
  6. My current disk setting for FS is xfs. when I formated the SSD, it formated as btrfs. I understand if you are using multi-drive cache pool, then it has to be btrfs. Since I created as separate cache pool. xfs format should be fine.
  7. Unraid Version: 6.9.0-beta25 I added new cache pool, my current disk settings for file system is xfs. When the disk finished formatting, it's in btrfs format. Is this a bug? and how do I reformat this as xfs? But this doesn't appear to be an issue with my original cache drive. Thanks! zerg-diagnostics-20201022-1006.zip
  8. lol. that's it. all container are downloaded, probably just need to re-setup pi-hole. Thanks! easy answer, but tough to troubleshoot. Thanks! Guys!
  9. oh, maybe I still have the pi-hole setting in the router, let me get rid of the dns first. be right back.
  10. Ok. I deleted the docker image, and recreated it. Then to the Previous Apps to install applications. all failed. Anything else I can try? Otherwise, how do I rebuild it? zerg-diagnostics-20201021-2132.zip After this, I have no container left, tried to install app manually, same error as my previous reply.
  11. Anyone has a chance to take a look. If this is not fixable. how do I rebuild it for scratch. I assume all my data will be fine, will just need to figure out how to reinstall all the apps? Thanks!
  12. Here id diag zip file. thanks!zerg-diagnostics-20201019-1623.zip I am running: Version: 6.9.0-beta25
  13. Hi there, I am fairly new to Unraid, if I miss some information to include, please let me know! I bought a intel SSD drive to replace my current Sabrent SSD as cache drive. Originally I did not know the proper way to migration cache drive. So, I stopped the array, removed Sabrent and added Intel SSD, restarted the array, it did format the drive and everything started. Then I begin to notice, some of apps are not functioning properly. lost all figuration in pi-hole, thus no longer able to connect to internet, stop pi-hole currently fixed my issue with internet connection. plex also very slow after cache drive change. So I moved back to the Sabrent as my Cache drive again, but it seemed I am already too late. I search through forum, and see I need to download Krusader app to do a proper 'move'. But I can't install the app. Also tried other apps, most of them won't install anymore. from the error, they all looking for a image to install locally, but nothing is available. Did I corrupt the cache drive? Is it possible to fix this? If not, what option do you I have left? Thank you all in advance!
  14. Installed System Temp with perl, but it did not detect anything. Any help? Thanks!
  15. Yes, I understand that. waiting "Parity-Sync/Data-Rebuild" to finish! Thanks!
  16. Ok. This is the information I am looking for, even though there isn't much I can do. Thank you very much! Please close thread!
  17. Ok, thanks! uploading the diag file. I am just wondering if "Sync/Data-Rebuild in progress" will force a re-check of "UDMA CRC error" on the drive. If not, what is the procedure to do that? Thanks! zerg-diagnostics-20201001-1718.zip
  18. I have the same issue with UDMA CRC error count. How do you force a recheck? I did a shut down and replacement of the SATA cable. Now it's doing Parity-"Sync/Data-Rebuild in progress", will this re-check UDMA CRC error? I rather not wait another 8 hours for this to finish. Thanks!
  19. I am brand new as Unraid user. Without reading all the info, I already built the server with Gigabyte B550 AORUS Elite AX which included wifi 6. Is it possible to set it up the wifi connection with Unraid. Thanks!
