So I checked on it remotely with my phone while at work and it's still doing it. just not showing anything under the "check filesystem" header. Should i try stopping and restarting the array, or rebooting?

Other computer. the server is 100% headless. Webui still responds, it's just that screen that acts up.

Ok, so it's running... I think. I clicked the button, the log started filling. then the entire screen broke the connection. now when I refresh it stops loading the page right before the logs would show up. Refresh, same result. Go back to main and click disk 3, same result. Do I just leave it alone for the night and check it again in the morning?

Cool, I will let it run. another day to complete rebuild. I get 12tb is a lot of data and takes time but is there any way to decrease the time needed in the future? I hate having my array unprotected for days at a time.

I am 22 hours into a data rebuild on disk 4. Should I pause that and start messing with disk 2?

Hey guys, I goofed up, I see that now. For starters I went from 6.12.x (I think it was 11) to 6.12.14 but I didn't reboot. So time went on, parity check. then I shutdown and installed a HBA, I only attached a unassigned drive at first. when I booted it up over half the array was missing. I moved drives on then off the HBA. Finally I rebooted with no drives on the HBA. almost everything came back but still not enough to start the array. Giving up I just pulled the HBA out of the PCIe slot after shutting it down. When I turned it on again it was good enough to start the array. Now I have 2 drives that are disabled (dual parity). I started with drive 3. I tried a xfs_repair but it failed. So I just dropped it and did a in place rebuild. rebuilding the data from parity onto itself. However it is now a green dot, but where the gauges should be it says it is "Unmountable: unsupported or no file system" drive 4 is currently rebuilding in place to fix it as I do not like having even 1 drive emulated due to my luck. In krusader disk 3 is just gone. I got the email that said disk 3 returned to normal operation but it is still not functioning as expected. In summary drive 3 and 4 are corrupted or something. I tried xfs_repair -L on both, and have done a in place rebuild for disk 3 but it's still not working. Anyone here have further advice? I am beginning to wonder if it is a kernel issue but as upgrading got me here I am afraid to go near that button or the downgrade button.

I have a refurb drive ordered. It will arrive the second. Any advice for making it a smooth transition on replacing a parity drive?

After the reboot the array turned good. 0 errors. Though it still has the Reallocated sector count of now 64000. Numbers growing that fast make me think it's days are numbered.

Attempted to do a extended test. It got to 40% overnight/all day. Meanwhile I got constant updates about the reallocated sector count climbing. It is up to 63000. I rebooted it because plex was acting up. I assume that has something to do with the parity drive failing?

Hello, I am relatively new to unraid. My drive parity 2 has 2808 errors on the main tab. I don't really know what this specifically means. I know it is failing but by smart data it is less than a year old. Did I just lose the lottery on a refurb drive? I know enough to know it needs replaced quickly but any advice would be appreciated both to make the swap smoother and to prevent this in the future.

I had the same issue. I downgraded to 1.30.2.6563 In linuxserver's container look for the variable labeled Version: and put in the version number, I had a tough time finding a good changelog so I used https://www.videohelp.com/software/Plex/version-history to find the version I wanted.
