I don't want to manually edit anything. I just want this to work. I started with sha256 and switched to blake3. The same error is happening on the save hdd for me. At least with blake3 the plugin will actually check the files. The sha256 hash would not check any file and just return a "all is well" with zero files check, zero files skipped.

    I once had that issue. In the end I found the cause was just a loose SATA cable.
