  1. i know. im a longtime user and it-senior-admin so the way unraid works is not new to me. and this is the reason why this behavior caught my attention. no other write was happening during this mover run. i was consolodating files from one share to another share reading from array and writing to the new shares cache pool. after this process i was running mover to move the files to array. i will have a look at every single mover process in the near future.
  2. ok i will analyze the prozesses on os level if a second mover was running due to some strange happenings. thanks alot
  3. yeah but only mover was running and copying large files.
  4. no second write was happening during mover running at the time of the screenshot.
  5. same mover job and suddenly it uses full speed will monitor it if it switched back to "auto"
  6. screenshot of mover running disc settings
  7. Hello @ all my mover wont use reconstructive write anymore. disk settings are correct and not changed. Running unraid 6.12.13 do you have any idea what i need to do to get it back working again? mover was running very fast with approx. 220mb/s lately until now... already rebootet and switched disk settings to "auto" and back to "reconstructive write" - did not help diag is attached. thanks alot for your help tower-diagnostics-20240919-1153.zip
  8. Thanks Jorge for checking it. Currently im running a extended smart check. looks like all data is fine.
  9. Fix Common Problems just noticed that disc3 has errors but says: "If the disk has not been disabled, then Unraid has successfully rewritten the contents of the offending sectors back to the hard drive." So i guess data should be valid?
  10. Hello, over last night i've got a disc with 32 errors on it. smart short test returned no errors. disc is still healthy diags are attached. These are the errors found in disc log its a toshiba n300 8tb disc running on a lsi 9205-8i hba on a sas-to-sata breakout cable. disc is still running fine. i've entered maintenance mode and did a filesystem check with -n and without option. no errors found and no errors corrected. what should i do? is it safe to simply run the array? should i format the disc and rebuild it? thanks alot tower-diagnostics-20230511-0651.zip
  11. Hey is there anybody out there willing to help? Since switching back to ipvlan unraid is working fine.
  12. Ok after further investigation "docker service" is the problem. After disabling the ping reaches 8.8.8.8 i've switched back to "macvlan" for testing. ipvlan was recommended after a problem i've posted here. it would be nice if someone could analyze my diag files if there is any problem we could fix
  13. ping to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 was already stuck again. i've stopped VM- and docker-Services via settings. Ping startet to reach its destination. After enabling docker and vm services it startet reaching 8.8.8.8 for approx. 2 min now it stopped reaching 8.8.8.8 again.
  14. hello @all i've stumbled over a strange problem. my unraid server is hosting a couple of docker containers and 1 linux vm which hosts my pihole. i was able to access the unraid server normally via network. but pinging to 1.1.1.1 or google.de via console was not possible. unraid also wasnt able to get docker or plugin updates. after stopping the VM-service it wasnt able to restart it with the following error: after rebooting unraid its working like a charme. diag is attached as well. maybe there is someone who can tell me what the problem is and how to solve it. thanks alot florian tower-diagnostics-20230406-0740.zip
  15. Perfect, i will do so if... thannks again for your always perfect help jorge
  16. So, switched to ipvlan and rebooted the server cleanly. here is the new diag file tower-diagnostics-20221012-1355.zip
  17. I will do so asap. Will report, thanks
  18. Hey @all my unraid server just completly filled my log device. i was able to save a diagnostigs file. could someone tell me what was happening here? i've resized the logdev to 4096M but is was filling up again. reboot was only possible with a hard reboot from cli, rebooting in gui did not work. Also stopping the array and unmounting usershares did not respond. thanks alot, i'm kinda worried. tower-diagnostics-20221012-0902.zip
  19. thanks alot Jorge for your time. system is currently running like it should
  20. hello, i've changed the sas-sata cables and the sata power cables. here is a new diagnostics file. could you verify that everything is fine? tower-diagnostics-20220926-1111.zip
  21. thanks for the fast reply. ok i will change the power connection here. currently everything rebuilds fine. waiting for first disk to be done and start second rebuild. anything else i should check? i will also change the sas->sata cables.
  22. Hello, my unraid server was performing a parity sync/rebuild (switch from single to dual parity) and finished at 4:24 this morning. Shortly after 1 disc (disc4) was disabled within unraid. After discovering this error i've checked everything and stopped the array, removed the disc, started array, stopped array, reassigned the disc and started the array with rebuild. shortly after disc2 was disabled too. currently rebuild of disc4 is still running and disc2 is still disabled(will be rebuild after disc4 returns normal operation). Can someone tell me what happened here? Currently i'm hoping the rebuild will finish without error and i wont lose any data. Diags attached! My server is a Ryzen 5600G based system, Asus b450 gaming-f motherboard, LSI SAS2308 IT-Mode, 6x Toshiba N300 8TB HDD, 4 ssds for 2 cache pools. Thanks alot. tower-diagnostics-20220923-0638.zip
  23. Changed to a 1Gbit dual-port Intel server nic. was running perfect with full speed. i've filed a warranty claim with the mainboard seller. Board will be exchanged. Thanks alot
