  1. I'm currently converting a folder to a dataset. It's a 8TB drive, folder has 6,5TB of data in it. While converting, my disk is full, what happens now? I cannot convert this folder because clearly you need double the space to convert.

    Please help.

  2. Is Krusader able to resume a partially moved file?

I was moving files, but I cancelled. When I was resuming moving those files, I selected 'write into' (the folder where the files where in that I was mvong).

Does Krusader continue with the partially moved file, or does it overwrite it?

  3. I also cannot log in with the Crashplan Docker. I made an VM Ubuntu 22.04 machine on UnRAID, downloaded and run Crashplan there, and that works. I also asked the support team from CP, what can cause the login issue. Did not get a reply yet.

Can the issue be that the Docker version is voor Small Business, while I have a Pro account? When downloading a installer from their website, it also ask for the version you want to run.

  4. Hi all,

    I am running UnRAID 6.12.4 with binhex-krusader.

    My array layout:

    Array with 3x 8TB and 2x 10TB parity

Cache pool with 2x NVME 500G with my Docker and VM data

1 SSD 1TB for downloads and processing those downloads. The resulting data should move to the Array.

    My shares:

    Data: Cache to Array

    Media: Array

    Downloads: Download SSD only

    Backups: Array

The problem: when I have downloaded something and I want to move the unpacked files to my Media share (Array only) and I do this via Krusader, the data stays on the Downloads drive, just in a folder called like the folder where I want to actually have it on the Array.

When I move via Windows, the files are indeed dissapearing from the Downloads drive to the Array as intended.

I do move the files in Krusader within the Shares /mnt/user/Downloads to /mnt/user/Media so I would expect the files to dissapear from the Downloads drive to the Media drive however, this is not the case when using Krusader.

What can I do to make sure my files are moved correctly? The Downloads drive is an unprotected drive so NO files should stay there after I moved them to the array. It's just for downloading and processing those files.

Screenshots 'Downloads' is the Download drive as it should be (only with the Download folder).

'Moving' is where you can see that I am moving withing the Shares, not on disk level.

'Moved' is where you see the folder Media/Muziek on my Downloads drive, where it should NOT be, and also the Mover does NOT move it to the Array.

Does someone know how to make Krusader work correctly?

    Thanks.

  5. This is the same with my dockers. They are indeed 99 and 100.

Could restoring a backup of my Plex Media server database and files (not the real media but the Metadata and stuff) be an issue since I needed to change the permissions on that too (the app appdata)

  6. I think also having changed my cache drives from SATA SSD to NVME SSD, got me this strange behavior.

When browsing folders, or copying files on my Unraid machine, folder get inaccessible because of changed permissions.

I have to go to the CLI to chmod 777 that folder again to make it accessible again. Tried the ACL trick but still the folders change permissions.

  7. I also have this EXACT same issue.

I am browsing through folder on my Unraid NAS and at the next moment I cannot access that very same folder anymore. This while just browsing.

Folders and files change to permissions 644 and I have to go to the command line of Unraid to put the folder back  to 777 permissions.

  8. I thought maybe Teracopy on WIndows is causing the issue. It seems my Sandisk 500GB Pro NVME drive causing permission issues. I removed the NVME drives as cache for my Unraid, and now it doesn't have those issues anymore.

What could cause the NVME drives to act this strange? It are 2 drives, BTRFS filesystem.

  9. Ok,

    This happened while copying files:

    drwxrwx---+ 1 nobody users  84 Feb 19 10:55 Audio-DVD's/
    drwxrwxrwx+ 1 nobody users 100 Feb 18 14:09 Films/
    drwxrwxrwx  1 nobody users  18 Jan 26  2020 Foto's/
    drwxrwxrwx  1 nobody users 110 Dec  8 15:35 Muziek/
    drwxrwxrwx  1 nobody users 392 Feb 10 14:56 TV-Series/

As seen above, Audio-DVD's changed while copying files. I cannot access the folder anymore.

It changed from 777 to drwxrwx---+

    Thanks

  10. Hi,

    /mnt/user/NAS/

under NAS I have the following folders:

    Backups

    Data

    Downloads

    Media

    Rips

Most of the time is was Media and Downloads changing (that is where SAB and Plex are working/looking in) but I also noticed Data changing.

Actually I think it has to do with the Sandisk Pro 500GB NVME drives getting too warm. I have cooling on them now and now I can work on my system without issues, while otherwise the folder permissions were changed by now.

I'll keep you posted. Maybe i'm just lucky now and the issues comes back.

    Regards
