  1. Note….If you already have a RAID set configured, you’ll lose your data when you switch the card into IT mode.
  2. You can switch the P420i card into IT mode (plenty of guides on the web), then it will stop being a RAID controller, and your individual disks will appear in unraid. You’ll need to tweak the drive config in unraid to get the individual disk temperatures showing correctly, but other than that it should work perfectly (of course, using another HBA card will also work but you’ll need to buy longer mini SAS cables as the internal cables aren’t quite long enough, also the drive LEDs may not work either, it depends on the HBA card firmware IIRC)
  3. I had this issue when I upgraded from 6.8 to 6.8 RC2. Clearing the web browser cache (i.e. Edge) cured it for me.
  4. Updated my HP DL380 G8 from 6.9 RC2 to 6.9.0 stable, no issues at all. A mix of SAS and SATA disks, one additional (Raid1) pool, two unassigned devices. Running docker, multiple VMs. There was heavy disk and CPU usage (~80% total utilisation on dual 6 core HT Xeons) after start-up, but things settled down to normal levels after a few minutes. Thank you for the wonderful work.
