    This is my first post here, and I feel like it's going to be a long one for this conversation. I've been kind of a storage nerd since 2012, and I feel like I've used every type of hard drive from IDE hard drives to SAS hard drives to SCSI and to be relevant with Unraid, since I've been using it since 2019, here's a short list of the best drives I've owned so far. Seagate - (Pre-Compute / Barracuda Branding) Western Digital - (Pre-NAS series) HGST Toshiba Which drives have I ran the longest? SAS Variant Only HGST / WD HGST Seagate Barracuda Which drives have I ran the hardest, use the most, and keep using daily? Anything with the HGST branding.
