  1. Tried 6.11.2 again and the problem persists. Turned on logs and saw an entry about corrupted smbpasswd file. Deleted a share user via the web UI to update the file. It seems to solve the problem. Not sure if smbpasswd was the real cause. Strange thing is that 6.11.1 operates smoothly while 6.11.2 blocks the access.
  2. I have a share with "Secure" setting on my server. There's a printer that can save scanned document to it. The printer can only do NTLMv1. 6.11.0 removes NTLMv1 which makes the setup not working. I had to disable access control for the share. 6.11.1 makes the setup working again. 6.11.2 the access issue come back. Reverted to 6.11.1 back to normal. Note that 6.11.2 brings security update for Samba, could it be the reason of broken NTLMv1?
  3. It's quite annoying that SMB settings couldn't be changed without stopping the array first. On generic Linux system, admins don't need to shutdown all services just to change samba settings. Unless there is something forbiting this?
  4. I notice that syslog has the following line: [ 12.534120] Btrfs loaded, crc32c=crc32c-generic and crc32c-intel module is not found under /lib/modules This could boost performance of Btrfs on system with SSE4.2 capable CPU. Could I ask the module to be included in next update?
