  1. Cleared it off of all status on it as much as possible with mover. Ran trim. Rebooted the server even. Waited a bit and copied a large file. After about 1.5ish gigs it falls back to normal hard drive speeds. Drive is a SK hynix Gold P31 1TB. I thought it would be able to keep up better then that.
  2. I just installed it. But I did accidentally fill it because I had it configured wrong. I'll figure out how to trim and and give it another no now that the other cache issue is resolved.
  3. Well the GOOD news is I fixed the mover issue. It was indeed the setting I was using. I had it on preferred because apparently I don't comprehend directions the first few times. Once I put it to just "Yes" on use Cache pool and started the mover again the available space on the cache is slowly climbing. So yay to that. Now I just gotta figure out those errors in the diagnostics and someday maybe why my cache isn't performing how it did at the start.
  4. Trying to get those logs but its taking a long time and spitting tons of stuff like this; sed -i 's/\/mnt\/disk4\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/0a1ca5d34543fcd5.webp \/mnt\/cache\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/0a1ca5d34543fcd5.webp.partial (28) No space left on device/\/\/..e\/.../g' '/metis-diagnostics-20230816-1655/logs/syslog.txt' 2>/dev/null sed -i 's/\/mnt\/disk4\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/904af768c656cf22.webp \/mnt\/cache\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/904af768c656cf22.webp.partial (28) No space left on device/\/\/..e\/.../g' '/metis-diagnostics-20230816-1650/logs/syslog.txt' 2>/dev/null sed -i 's/\/mnt\/disk4\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/0a1fb06b404b5b33.jpg \/mnt\/cache\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/0a1fb06b404b5b33.jpg.partial (28) No space left on device/\/\/..e\/.../g' '/metis-diagnostics-20230816-1655/logs/syslog.txt' 2>/dev/null sed -i 's/\/mnt\/disk4\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/9052d7732bf0da10.jpg \/mnt\/cache\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/9052d7732bf0da10.jpg.partial (28) No space left on device/\/\/..e\/.../g' '/metis-diagnostics-20230816-1650/logs/syslog.txt' 2>/dev/null sed -i 's/\/mnt\/disk4\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/0a1fb06b404b5b33.mp4 \/mnt\/cache\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/0a1fb06b404b5b33.mp4.partial (28) No space left on device/\/\/..e\/.../g' '/metis-diagnostics-20230816-1655/logs/syslog.txt' 2>/dev/null sed -i 's/\/mnt\/disk4\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/9052d7732bf0da10.mp4 \/mnt\/cache\/appdata\/stash\/generated\/screenshots\/9052d7732bf0da10.mp4.partial (28) No space left on device/\/\/..e\/.../g' '/metis-diagnostics-20230816-1650/logs/syslog.txt' 2>/dev/null thing is if they are talking about Stash I gave up and removed it ages ago I thought. I can't find it anywhere in my unraid any longer.
  5. Thanks. I'll do it in a bit. I found out I had my cache drive settings wrong and fixed it then ran the mover again. Sadly, the utilization isn't going down. Which then begs the question of what is the mover actually DOING? lol I'll get those logs shortly.
  6. Thanks. I'll give a look. Looks like it makes a lot of files. Anything file in particular or anything in particular I should be looking for? edit: Duh or I could just keep reading. Looking into it this evening.
  7. SK hynix Gold P31 1TB is what I'm using. But after a bit it's down to basically regular hard drive speeds. The weird thing is the day I got the thing I did a big giant copy of like 12 gigs and it handled it like a champ but now its down to slow after about 2 gigs tops.
  8. I filled my cache drive yesterday, so I started getting errors. Even though I thought it was supposed to go around the cache drive if it was full, but thats another question for another day. I have it scheduled to run the mover every night but manually told it to run instead since I was full up and then hours later went to bed. This afternoon it no longer shows as running but the cache drive is still full, and I have the little !▲ warning me that some shares have files that are not protected. What do? Suggestions?
  9. Oh well then, I guess no reason to bother upgrading my network then if the enhanced performance is only going to last a few seconds.
  10. Seems like my copies start really quick when copying via windows after about 2 gigs I'm back to the standard drive speeds. Is that about normal? Is there any way to improve this further? I've love to be able to get at least 4gigs before the speed comes down. The weird thing when I first got the thing I ran a test and could swear it copied like 9 gigs at full speed.
  11. You rock! Thanks! edit: well crud, I see it now but I can't do anything but see it. I'll keep researching though. I had hoped to eventually get some of the scrapers running but its difficult being a linux noob. editx2: Ah, Dynamix File Manager can do it. I'm gonna get this yet no matter how long I have to beat my head against it.
  12. Be gentle. Still an ultra newbie but if my config is /mnt/user/appdata/stash/config how can I access this folder? Its nothing that appears under my shares from my Windows system. How can I reach it? Sorry if its a dumb question. Just trying to figure how to access the folders with the eventual goal of installing scrapers.
