  1. ok, so 100% load in the dashboard is "normal"
  2. Hehe ok.. than I’m open for help ;)))
  3. I’m not sure what that means does it mean that it’s normal that in top the load is lower? what does that mean for my problem?
  4. just 2 pictures: not sure if i interpret top correctly, but the load seems to be lower there. But as the system still is unresponsive i don't think that's right
  5. i just checked sth. which looks good grep -o aes /proc/cpuinfo aes aes aes aes sort -u /proc/crypto | grep module module : aesni_intel still high load
  6. I tried my only docker in host mode (plex on 32400) which seems to work. The ones nost bridge mode dont
  7. Hi all, im trying to set up my unraid server and am running into in issue. I would like to access my nextcloud server via ipv6. So i configured a port fwd in my router to the port (45083) but it did not work. I tried everything on the router until i tried to fwd port 80 to the unraid server which worls fine using the ipv6. So i guess the problem is not the router but unraid/docker not wokring as it should with ipv6. I copied a few screenshots but i'm not sure where to look is there anything wrong with the settings? I'm using a fritzbox with DSlite ;( WAN Settings on my windows pc i have the following settings and the pc is reachable from outside via ipv6 Thanks for your help one stupid question upfront: The docker container has the same ipv6 as the unraid system (just like it would be with ipv4) right?
  8. - The dockers don't have a high CPU load --> but when i completely disable docker the CPU load is still high (maybe slightly lower) - i already have an extra pool for appdata --> appdata - Prefer : Data --> Multimedia - Yes : Cache --> the array is the same
  9. Hi all, i have a setup with a cache disk (enrypted) and an array (encrypted). When i copy over files to the new server via smb (just using the windows explorer) i have very high CPU loads and the system becomes unresponsive. Could it be the enryption? I have a i5-6600K CPU, so AES NI should be available. Best Dennis
  10. Hi, i enabled the External Storage plugin to access a unraid share via webdav. It works fine and I can access the folder via the nextcloud gui. But how do I find out the webdav url? remote.php/dav/files/
  11. Hi all, i would like to move my Plex installation from my QNAP (native /no docker) to my new unRAID server. According to the guide from plex (https://support.plex.tv/articles/201370363-move-an-install-to-another-system/) it seems quite easy. Before i had 2 folders \plex -> with the plex setings \Multimedia with subfoldes for moviews/tv/.. which i added as library in plex Now i wanted to install the container and have a few questions: - By default the config path is mapped to /mnt/user/appdata/plex which is fine. Can I just copy the 3 folders above into this folder? - The template wants to mount various folders for movies/tv/music/. As i only have one Multimedia sahre with subfolders, can I just leave these paths blank and instead create a new patch like this? After that i can readd the path to the library as i would have to do anyway
  12. @skois Thank you - sounds good. How does it work rg. rights management. Does the user running the docker container have full R/W rights to all shares? And how does rights management in nextcloud work. I guess nextcloud users are not connected to unraid users, correct? So can i assign the External storage in nextcloud to certain users?
  13. Hi all, im searching for a way to use webdav with "normal" shares. I often read about nextcloud as it supports webdav. I would like to use nextcloud as a dropbox alterantive anyway, so maybe this is a win-win. What i don't want is to access nextcloud (or its files/userfolders) via webdav, but shares already existing on the system. (e.g. like a Documents share). So my question is if it is possible to enable nextcloud to access normal shares to allow webdav access to them!?
  14. sounds good, thank you. So my configuration would be: - 2x SSD to build a cache drive - 4x HDD to build the main drive i've got another question regarding webdav. I would like to do the following and would like to know if it's possible (easily ;)) - I have regular shares with data (e.g. Movies, Documents, TV, ...) - I have multiple users (Mini, Mouse) - All shares are accessible via smb - Mini has access to Movies - Mouse has access to all folders - Now i would like to allow webdav access per user to the folders they have access to as described before - But in addition i would like to define folders accessible by webdav in general - e.g. Documents can not be accessed via webdav - all other folders can be accessed ---> Mini can access Movies and Nouse can access Movies/TV via webdav Thanks Dennis
  15. Hi, i would like to use unraid and have a few questions upfront: 1. Cache drive I would like to use cache drive (SSD) to increase writing speed. Do I understand it correctly that when I copy data to a share (e.g. Multimedia) - the data is copied to the cache SSD "invisibly". Meaning that even though the share is on the normal drive the file is placed on the SSD in the background first - after a while the mover is started and the file is moved to the regular drive (e.g. over night) - as long as the mover did not run there is no parity if the SSD fails? - could i create a RAID1 with 2 SSDs in case one SSD cache disk fails before the file is moved 2. Docker I understand that most additional tools/Apps are Docker containers, correct? Thanks Dennis
