  1. Thanks for the update, however I'm also a bit confused as I don't know much about what ZFS brings, and I don't have the need or desire to move on to ZFS for the time being. I have a very basic, standard unraid setup, consists of 1 parity drive, 1 cache drive and 2 data drives, all XFS formatted. What I'd like to know is: - I assume I can continue with my existing setup without having to make any changes, correct? - In a ZFS setup, is there no parity drive anymore? Which means I need a raid setup and have to mirror disks for data security? - What about cache drive/pool? Don't we need it anymore either? Since we don't have parity which means write speeds are better, correct?
  2. Hi all, This is not necessarily specific to unraid as I'm not really asking how to monitor temps. I just need some basic app or script to log temps from sensors or IPMI at some interval and then present it in way that I can see e.g. - What's the average CPU temp for the last month/week/day? - How does it correlate to CPU usage? - Bonus if I can correlate high temps with processes that are likely the cause. - Bonus if it correlates temps with time of day - Bonus if I can correlate temps with fan speeds
