  1. Don't hold your breath. have you run command -- lspci -k | grep -EA2 'VGA|3D' -- you should get something like this. 08:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Hawaii XT / Grenada XT [Radeon R9 290X/390X] (rev 80) Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Radeon R9 390X Kernel driver in use: radeon
  2. Well i have upgraded to 6.11.5 now Things i did to gain smooth transition from 6.9.2 - not saying this is the only way to the upgrade. I'm a general user not a linux pro at all, well it could be said is NFI what I'm doing, but I read a few posts from all over & stich it together. Well here i go. 1. run in TOOLS update assistant to check for any possible issues. list of issues will be reported. 2. back up all appdata & config. 3. shutdown server & make copy/backup of USB. 4. Put USB back in server, restart & shutdown all VM & dockers. 5. In TOOLS start OS update. 6. once update is finished UNraid will do some checks & report any issues. 7. Reboot & whala your done. Well that how it worked for me. seamless. GOOD LUCK TO ALL. It would be nice for links to a best practice for noobs like myself on how to transition from older versions to the new without bricking your server & killing all your VM/dockers.

I was a little surprised that I made a similar post & didn't get any help from the Unraid moderators. Any handy hint that are not already on this thread. 9. is this normal for a AMD R9 390x in unraid??
  10. Hi Team, I have a question on drivers for a R9 390X AMG gpu PCIe. I have by default loaded Do i need both or should i remove one. Unraid build id 6.9.2. I'm trying to utilise the GPU for frigate & any other docker that needs this. The above was using ls -la /boot/config/modprobe.d/ in the terminal to call the drivers. I seem to have a bit of a problem with support in unraid with any AMD devices. not sure why this is. Platform is CPU 3800x R7, GPU R9 390X 8GB, MB ASUS Prime B450, TPU Coral, RAM 16GB 3200MHZ.
