  1. anyone having slow downloads with jdownloader2 with mega? if I download directly from mega on the web the speed is normal. This only started happening about 6 weeks ago or less. I have a paid account and I'm using it and set the rule so it ensures I'm using the account. Any tips?
  2. I can't even see logging because the log is on the cache pool (this is the only device assigned) and I have to stop the array and reboot. This has happened 4x in the last 2 weeks. Usually manifests as other users seeing "cannot playback, not enough disk space" in Plex. I've just changed all shares which were using "prefer" to "yes" and running the mover. Is the next step to change it to "No" once everything is moved? Are there any plugins/apps to thoroughly check the drive to see if it is bad (less than 1 year old, I will RMA)? Any recommendations on NVME drives that won't die? edit: the drive is WD Blue 1TB - WDC_WDS100T2B0C and is listed on the compatibility list or my Motherboard - MSI B365M PRO-VDH
  3. Anyone else have an issue where jDownloader2 either won't pick up the pasted text/link, or even when it does and you manually click add link it does nothing... even though the link is valid?
  4. Sorry. I had "use hardware acceleration" unchecked in plex settings - I had migrated from an old server. Seems to be working now, so I deleted my post.
  5. What are you using for the NFS export string for your shares being exported by NFS? *(rw)
  6. I just installed this beta and powered on the server. I see a bunch of "FATAL" errors looks like to do with NFS I've attached my syslog EDIT: I just rebooted and re-attached the syslog, I don't see the FATAL error in there (on either copy) but it was on the screen, after the login prompt showed up. I'm gonna test the NFS connection to see if it is still working properly.
  7. Vorlagen / Anyone Did you guys figure this out? I have all the same hardware as you and the SAME problem, and tearing my hair out!! help!
  8. Hi, How did you reflash back to 22? Last night i flashed my BIOS from 16 to 22, and now it won't boot up any longer :'( - When I power up i see the name of the videocard for a sec, and then black screen - nothing happens. Cheers, Søren 22 should work fine. try this: power off on power supply press power button to discharge capacitors set cmos clear jumper to clear and leave it for 30 seconds take out your ram, put 1 stick in dimm 4 only reset the cmos jumper see if that boots go into bios, reset to optimized power down, re-install your ram if that doesnt work then your ram needs special settings so once in bios you need to change settings for your ram
  9. alternatively you could buy a controller card or NIC that uses the PCIe 1x slot... I have the Intel PRO/1000 1x card
  10. Weebo, You have air intake only through the front enclosures? Is that enough air going in? Just wondering.
  11. the normal flashgot, downthemall, videodownloadhelper don't work... just saves a .flv pointer file to the stream anyone know of a way to do this yet?
  12. Thanks for the link! That sucks. I don't mind had a video card, i just want to be sure it: a) doesnt affect performance - does having a video card plugged into the pci or pci-e bus cause slowdown of the drives somehow? b) drains as little power as possible c) is quiet
  13. So should I just go back to 512 or whatever the default is? The switch is an unmanaged one, it is just preset. That number is from the website I linked in the first post, I don't know if there is a way to set it or anything. I am confused about the padding etc, I need a windows tool to show me TRUE mtu value I guess, and start from there.
  14. Hey, I'm about to update my unRAID box and I'm going to try to source the parts used or cheap to keep costs down to save money for HDDs Here's what I have right now: MSI K8NGM2-FID Motherboard, onboard video and lan etc... from an old HTPC build Opteron 144 s939 cpu stock cooler Intel PCIe 1x Pro 1000 Gig-E NIC 2x 512mb Kingston HyperX DDR 400 SDRAM Enermax 350W PSU, no 24-pin supprt for main connector, only 20-pin! An old case with no sides 2x 750GB Seagate 7200.9 or 7200.10 I can't remember, SATA 1x 750GB PATA Seagate 7200.9 I think (the 3rd SATA died) Right now it is just setup as disk1 / disk2, I want to migrate that to all one share with the highlevel method or whatever, but that is another thread. Ok, so here is my current plan to make this more permanent, now that I know it will work for me. My goal is to have things fairly quiet and drawing as little power as possible. I am in Canada so now NewEgg. Trying to find the best sources here, any suggestions help. I usually check NCIX, DirectCanada (same company but lower prices?), Memory Express, Canada Computers, TigerDirect.ca PSU - $90 - Corsair VX430W. 80Plus certified, very quiet and power efficient even at low draw levels and up to 200W draw according to silentpc review. MB - $100 - Abit AB9 Pro. How can I not get this one, with all the great reviews here. I just have to find one, other than refurb on eBay in Canada - might get that anyway. CPU - $65 - Intel Celeron 440 (Conroe-L). This one is for the power savings, since unRAID is not CPU dependent at all. NIC - $0 - Keeping the Intel from above, probably the best NIC out there. VID - $0 - I have an old 6600GT PCI-e laying around, I can plug in for setup and maintenance. I will be running headless 99% of the time. This will save power to unplug it anyway - it will still boot without video right? RAM - $0 (sort of) - I will use the 2x1GB DDR2 pulled from my HTPC. HDDs - $? - I will keep the two SATA 750GB drives. I was thinking of getting several more, but I want to stay with Seagate and move up to 7200.11 drives that use the perpendicular bits or whatever. Faster access and I think more power efficient. CASE - $100 - Coolermaster 590. I think the best choice for me. I have some low noise 120mm Yate Loon fans lying around too. Prices are approximate, in Canadian $, and including shipping estimates. So, $355 for no new HDDs. Add about $200 for a 1TB 7200.11 or $160 for a 750GB. I should be ok with 3x750 used for data right now. I have a fast 7200.10 250GB for cache (uses the 7200.11 tech). So let's add $400 for 2x1TB we're at $755. HTPC: I need to upgrade: Video - 9600GT with HDMI out, $150 RAM - 2x2GB PC-8000 kit, G.SKILL F2-8000CL5D-4GBPI Pi PC2-8000 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-1000, about $120 So now we're at $755 + $270 = 1025. Anything I've forgotten or should change?
  15. I'm getting SLOW speeds using Total Commander to copy over files. Did a 4GB file and it took about 8-10 mins, I forget the speeds but they were all over the place from 5,000 to 14,000 kbytes/sec I did a local disc to disc transfer on my htpc and was getting about 60,000 - 70,000 So, I adjusted the MTU: root@Tower:~# ifconfig eth0 mtu 9014 up root@Tower:~# ifconfig eth0 eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:1B:21:14:E4:82 inet addr:192.168.1.134 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 UP BROADCAST NOTRAILERS RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:9014 Metric:1 RX packets:4397231 errors:3439 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:1880 TX packets:1419027 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:1819845027 (1.6 GiB) TX bytes:348755998 (332.5 MiB) I ran these commands right after eachother so the errors were on MTU 9216 not 9014. The point is, it shouldn't be this slow! I'm tempted to totally re-build and of course I'm going to implement a cache drive but still... I want to be sure my network is working as well as possible. Any help would be appreciated.
