    had a similar issue with my wordpress setup and I have followed the steps and it was still "not-writable" turns out I had to go to the container's console window and reassign the "www-data" user back, because for some reason it has changed to root and 99. afterwards I added your wp-config lines and Voila! everything is back to work as intended. thanks!
