Not able to boot off USB anymore
Everything had been working great for quite some time now. Had taken the system offline for a while. Installed a PCIe adapter so I could use m.2 drives and when I tried to start it up again it would not boot from the unraid USB.. I had gotten another USB drive and it would boot from it fine. I took the original licensed unraid usb drive and put into another PC and it still would not boot. I did download and create another unraid usb boot drive and that also worked. But I am hoping to reuse the old one cause of the way the license works. Would it be safe to use the USB creator to remake the usb boot drive on the same usb drive? Should I copy the pro.key file onto recreated usb? or would the system know once I logged in that I am using the same licensed usb? I am planning/hoping I can just reuse the same USB key without having to go through a license transfer or anything like that? Thank you

Superblock Read Failed
Only 1 disk is coming up as emulated. And that disk is actually new to the array. Disk 1 though is disabled. I believe something happened with a bad cable that caused errors and corruption. I replaced the cables but not sure how to fix the "Superblock read failed" error.

Superblock Read Failed
Trying to expand storage. Purchased an expansion card and connected 4 additional drives. Initially it all seemed to work fine. Then 1 disk was showing errors on the Unraid gui. So I swapped it out and the "new" disk was showing errors. I wasn't sure if I had 2 bad disks, or cabling or new card. I took drives out of the internal storage and swapped them with the external drives. That actually caused another drive to go bad. I'm thinking something was up with the cables maybe? Or coincidence. I've since replaced the cables with new ones from a trusted source. When I click on the drives after Starting array in Maint mode. Clicking on Check disk results in an error superblock read failed, offset 0, size 524288, ag 0, rval -1 fatal error -- Input/output error. I'm getting this for both disks in question. However Disk 1 is showing a red X and disabled. And Disk 12 is saying contents emulated. When I started the Array without the Maint box checked. Its prompting to format the drives. I don't mind formatting disk 12 if I have to, but Disk 1 had a bunch of data and I rather not lose it. But if i have to it won't be the end of the world. I saw in another thread they were using xfs_repair.. But I am not sure on what I need to run it against? They were doing md1p1 I think it was? I'm not even sure what that is in reference to. Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you taz-diagnostics-20241217-1953.zip

Upgraded to 6.12.9 now Missing Cache Drive
Very weird that the system was running fine until the upgrade. But in odd coincidence I guess the drive decided to die on the reboot. I pulled it and installed into another system and is not being detected there and the system is throwing up errors. Other SSD is fine in both systems. Thank you for your assistance.

Upgraded to 6.12.9 now Missing Cache Drive
I'm not sure what is going on. Everything appeared to be working fine with the exception the Array was getting low on space. Ran the update, then stopped all the dockers, shutdown the array and rebooted. And saw the error about the Cache drive missing. says no device and below it shows the old drive/serial which i guess it's looking for. I downgraded and its showing the same thing. I shutdown the server entirely. swapped the locations of the two SSD drives, and still the 1TB cache drive is no longer being seen.. Not sure on the controller? I believe its a LSI SAS2308.

Upgraded to 6.12.9 now Missing Cache Drive
Did the upgrade to .9 and after the reboot the Cache drive was missing. Did the downgrade back to .8 and the drive is still missing. I've attached the Diags from after the upgrade to .9 and then the downgrade to .8 when it was still not working. Server is a R720xd, seems all the SAS drives are still being detected that were in the array. I have two SSD sata drives that were for Cache and cloud. The cloud is still being detected. taz-diagnostics-20240328-1710-6-12-8.zip taz-diagnostics-20240328_1645-6.12.9.zip
