Today I was offered an update to the MariaDB container and installed, which I normally always do.
Checking the protocol after starting I saw this messages:

I know of the need sometimes to upgrade mariadb after an update but this time the message contains something of a healthcheck.
Yet I still tryed to upgrade the database which was not required according to the output of mariadb-upgrade.
I found out that the container has a shell script healthcheck.sh included but I don't know how to run it properly - or what exactly to do to get rid of the message.
EDIT:
I just added the environment variable MARIADB_AUTO_UPGRADE to the container - because I always intended to in the past so I wouldn't have to manually upgrade when necessery. After restarting the contianer with the variable the message was gone.
Not sure why the manual upgrade didn't fix the issue but setting the variable seems to have done so. Maybe there is a parameter for mariadb-upgrade that I didn't use.

I understand the recommendation but with limited space on the share this is not an option.
The logs mention nothing that points to a reason.
Further, there is no read/write activity. In unRAID, on the driver overview page, I can see that not a single byte is read or written to/from the drive where the nextcloud share is placed. But still it keeps the drives spun up. Both, the share drive in the array and the parity drive.

I didn't use any clients to sync. I only accessed it outside my home network to upload/download files.

Since the last view updates (I don't know, maybe 3 or 4 docker container updates ago) the nextcloud container keeps on spnning my parity drive and the drive on which the nextcloud share is located up.
Does somebody else see this behaviour?
As mentioned, couple of version ago it was working fine. Yes, the drives had to been spun up, each time I enter the webinterface of nextcloud by still the drives were able to spin down.
The share for nextcloud is setup as Cache -> Array.

I did a CLEAR CMOS and loaded optimized defaults and went through the BIOS again.
There is no such thing as "Power Supply Idle Control" although I could have sworn that in the past I have seen this setting. Maybe it was removed after a BIOS update.
There are other settings though, ERP Ready, Energy Star Ready, CEC Ready. Tha later two I leave usually disabled. But I enable ERP Ready.
I also disabled now global C-States. Will this mean that my power drop of the server will go up? Will it go up considerably?
Also my ECC RAM is running on 3200 MHz. This is not a D.O.C.P Profile, in fact, there is no profile stored on the RAM. Can I just lower the frequency in the BIOS for the RAM an expect no problem? As far as I know the highest supported speed is 3200 MHz. Not sure if lowering it would give me any benefit.

This morning at 8am my server shutdown and rebooted again.
We had some storms in the past days and nothing happened on the server. Once I even saw the light flicker but the server was still running. This morning there were no storms. At least not visible to the eye that could cause any electrican interference. Until this morning the server was again running for about 2 or 3 weeks without any issue. It's just confusing to me.
I looked through the log file and didn't find anything special. Maybe someone else does. It just needs a clean up of the many autofan messages.
The server is now again doing a parity sync

Um mein Problem zu analysieren habe ich ein USB Stick mit 32GB in einen bestehenden Raspberry Pi getan und darauf rsyslog eingerichtet, und unRAID in den Einstellung so konfiguriert, dass es dorthin loggen soll. Damit ebenen die Logs nach einem Neustart erhalten bleiben. Hat in Summe 20 MInuten gedauert und kann ich auf empfehlen, wenn du noch ein anderes Gerät in deinem Heimnetz hast.

I have. unRAID is now logging to a different server. Verified that it is working and now I am waiting for the next crash.

Über eine SUV habe ich oft nachgedacht. So eine kleine APC zum sauber Runterfahren würde ja schon reichen. Aber ich lese immer wieder Berichte von Käufern, dass die Dinger stinken und da mein Server in der Wohnung steht, schreckt mich das sehr ab.
Ich nutze Powertop Autotune. OOM sagt mir gar gerade nichts.

Harter Neustart ohne Einwirkung von mir. Ich bin abends Heim gekommen und das Array war offline. Bei mir ist unRAID so eingestellt, dass das Array nicht automatisch gestartet wird beim Start.

Bei mir ist es so eingestellt, dass bei Trennung von Strom der Server aus bleibt und manuell wieder gestartet werden muss. Hier bin ich aber leider "nur" zu 80% sicher, dass es so eingestellt ist. Ich konnte noch nicht naschauen, weil die Parityprüfung noch lief und ingesamt 24 Stunden braucht. Wenn die fertig ist, schaue ich nochmal.

Habe den Nachbarn gefragt. Ihm ist kein Stromausfall aufgefallen. Auch die Uhren z. B. waren alle noch OK.

today when I tryed to access SMB on my unRAID server I have found out that the array was offline but the server running. This happened to me before. One day after I installed the 6.12.3 update. I didn't pay much attention and blamed it on a storm we had that night. The second time was today, after the server had an uptime of about 8 or 9 days.
I'm not saying that 6.12.3 is the issue, it was just the first time this happened.
I am not 100% sure but if I remember correctly my ASUS B550-I mainboard is configured to stay turned off after power loss. So if this would be a PSU issue and the PSU fails and the power is gone, I believe it should stay off, right?
There are a couple of things I have changed in the near past, besides updating to 6.12.3. I changed my cache pool to use ZFS and I also changed the frequency scaling to use AMD pstates.
I have attached diagnostics, but I am afraid that they won't be of much help because I think the most interesting parts were removed after the restart. But maybe somebody would still find a clue - I hope.
Not sure what to do next. It's not easy just to start replacing hardware, everything became so expensive. A simple PSU would cost me already 100€ or more.
One more question: what would be the best way to enable persistent logging? Do I have to check daily and make sure that my USB drive with unRAID on it won't be completely full?Nevermind this. I will setup a Raspberry Pi as syslog server.

Hat jemand von euch schonmal Probleme bekommen bei der Nutzung von amd_pstate?
In den letzten 2 Wochen habe ich bereits zwei unsaubere Neustarts gehabt und musste jedes mal wieder Parity Prüfen.
Ich kann Hardware nicht ausschließen, möchte aber nicht sofort losrennen und neue - und teure - Hardware kaufen gehen.
Den ersten Neustart hatte ich nach update auf 6.12.3 und den zweiten nachdem der Server 8 Tage aktiv war.
Beide male war aber der Server wieder am laufen aber das Array Offline.
Wenn ein Hardwaredefekt vorliegt, z. B. Netzteil, würde der Rechner nach einem Fehler nicht aus bleiben?

I'm having trouble understanding the Auto Fan Setup and was hoping somebody can clarify.
The setup menu shows me three PWM controler.
Are these my fans header on the mainboard that were detected by the plugin?
But when I switch between the three entries, the path to the PWM fan stays exactly the same for each contoller.

Had a few users recently on the German sub forums where their BeQuiet power supplies caused the same thing on them and it took a long time to diagnose that.
I can't tell really. Unless it started to fail all of a sudden. It is a Corsair SF450, had it since my first day using unRAID and up until yesterday I had zero problems. Not with the PSU and also not with any other hardware component I am using.
Yesterday at the time the server rebooted there was a storm outside with thunder and lightning. But there was no power outage. At the same time I was watching TV and no other device seemed to have problems.
Anyway, for now it is running again. Should I happen again I will enable persistent logging and if something points to the PSU I will replace it.

Updated from 6.12.2 to 6.12.3 without any problems. Everything was running.
This morning I accessed the Web GUI to find my array stopped. The log file looks like my system rebooted itself yesterday at about 8 pm.
I thought I read something like this for 6.12.x version but never had the problem but never read saw a solution for this.
Edit: I just saw that it actually is doing a parity check. I only didn't see it right away because of the new notification thing in the Web GUI. Great. This will take another 24 hours.
Pretty sure it was no power outage. I was at home at the time where unraid started again (the time in the current log file)

Same here. Just updated to the latest version of the container but the integrity errors are still present. You still want the logfiles you mentioned in the previous page?

After my last upgrade to Nextcloud 27.0.0 I get a lot of integrity errors. I thought this may be a docker issue since the upgrade went fine, without errors and currently everything seems to be working fine also. Today I got an update of the docker container but the issue wasn't fixed so maybe it is actually an issue with my installation.
The documentation says I should upload each file that is causing the ingegriy error from the matching version installation. But in my case these are quite many files I would have to manually upload. Is there really no other solution?
I'm sorry that it is a quite big log.

Hast du irgendwelche Docker am Laufen, die ggfs. auf einen Share zugreifen. Ich hatte z. B. das Thema mit dem Nextcloud-Docker. Ab einer bestimmten Version wurde die Festplatte, auf dem der Share für Nextcloud liegt, nicht mehr runtergefahren.
Kannst du hören, dass die Festplatte in den Spin-Down geht und paar Sekunden später wieder startet? Oder fährt es gar nicht erst runter?
