  1. Hi All, So i've been having this issue for some time now but i havent been able to find any resolution for it. I currently have an unRAID server where I have hard-links set up. I also have a Synology 920+ connected as a remote for stuff that needs to be seeded but isn't imported into my library. Often when I try to change my save location from my unRAID server and migrate the files to my Synology, my cpu useage will spike and I'll notice my transfers slow down from maxing out at a gigabit to about 25-30MB/s or slower. When this occurs i need to restart qbittorent and often that will fail and I'll need to shut down docker and restart. More often than not it will fix itself after that but I'm currently moving a large number of files and it keeps triggering this. I keep seeing multiple threads pin at 100% momentarily and then drop back down. As soon as I shut down qbit, everything goes back to normal. Has anyone experienced this behavior before? Specs 10400 CPU 32GB ram MSI MPG z470 gaming plus 6x18TB 2x16TB Synology 920+ 2x18TB 2x14TB Thanks for in advance!
  2. shot in the dark bump....pretty much giving up on this
  3. Does anyone here with above 1gbit internet have any issues like this? Honestly have zero idea of where to go from here...my other machines work fine, its just docker apps that seem to have some sort of cap that I cant remove Speed test run and dashboard showing that Im getting 2gbit speeds up and down
  4. Just updated my original post with screenshots of my connection displayed on the dashboard and the speedtest results!
  5. speedtest app in unraid and speedtest.net on the desktop. Not a speedtest between the two machines
  6. Hi, Yep! i have a 2.5g switch connected to the blue port and both my desktop pc and unraid server are showing a 2.5gbe connection. Speed tests confirm as well! Everything else seems to be behaving as if I have 1gbit still though on my server
  7. just to follow up...seems that my other apps like Plex arent able to utilize my full bandwidth either. I had a download capped at 1gbit in qbit and my shows were slow to load in plex. shouldnt i have more than enough bandwidth to have a tv show load without buffering considering i'm getting 2.4gbit speeds in speedtest?
  8. Hi All! So I recently upgraded from gigabit to 2gbit symmetrical with ATT. Everything seems to be fine, dashboard shows the 2.5gbe change and the speedtest app is showing i'm getting around 2400mbit up/down. For some reason when I'm downloading a file in qbittorrent it will show my speeds capped at 1gbit and I'll even stop seeing updates in the app on download progress as if the port is saturated. Any reason why the speedtest app will show 2.5gbit speeds available but behavior like this seems like it's still running on gbit? BGW320 connected to a TRENDnet 2.5 5port switch Thanks for any help! When I remove my 1gbit download cap in qbit, here's what I see in my dashboard Then my app becomes unresponsive due to "saturating" the gigabit speed I'm assuming? Qbit will update once transfer is done and show everything at 100%
  9. Docker service ended up failing after a few app restarts due to these freezes...seems qbittorrent has an execution error now and won't open.
  10. Hi All! I'm currently using the latest version of qBittorent and having a couple synology devices connected as well. I noticed at times my cpu will have a couple cores pinned to 100 for no reason and realized it's qbitt for some reason. This tends to happen whenever I'm moving files from my array to the synology where I store long term files. I recently decided to move this storage to my more powerful nas and whenever I try to migrate the files by setting a new location in qBitt the transfer starts off fine but then drops to 1-3MB/s. I need to restart the docker or my cpu will just stay at 100% on a couple cores. Any idea why this happens? A couple people on reddit asked me if I found a solution to this but surprised I dont see it mentioned more often. Thanks for your help!!
  11. Hi All, Was making some recent changes and think I broke something. Ended up reinstalling my appdata from a backup. Noticed this morning that my plex transcoder was pinning a core and had been running for 6 hours with 0 streams active. I think this was going on and I didnt notice since I direct play everything at home. Was checking the logs and noticed the following error: Jobs: Exec of /config/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Codecs/EasyAudioEncoder-1785-linux-x86_64/EasyAudioEncoder/EasyAudioEncoder failed. (13) Seems this is happening only when eac3 codec is used which is most of my WEB-DL stuff. I googled around and noticed it might be a permissions issue. Checked permissions on the codec folder and wasn't seeing anything amiss. Has anyone run into this before? I cant seem to stream most of my library at the moment, most likely my users cant either. Any help would be appreciated!!
  12. That's what I was doing but unpackerr would wait until moving the files from my cache to the synology before extracting which slows everything down
  13. Hi all! I recently swapped my completed download location to my synology NAS to save on some array space. Most of my movies come in compressed form and normally unpackrr would extract the files and sonarr would do it's thing prior to mover moving the files to the array. Now that I have the remote location set as my download completed location, seems that the files are being moved right away (as expected in hindsight). I was wondering if there's any way to have the files stay in my cache download location while unpackrr does it thing then have the files moved to my synology download share? Any advice would be appreciated!
  14. hmm gotcha, I'd like to set it up so that sonarr deleted files would go to the recycle bin...will try to sort that out. Thanks!
