  1. what I am about to say doesn't resolve the above stated issue but is an alternative to avoid the problem altogether. I found myself in the same situation where my nzbget docker was broken and understand that the previous maintainer for the nzbget docker has stopped maintaining it. After much fiddling and brute forcing, I just ended up going to the nzbget website and looked under the installation/docker tab then replaced the repository under the nzbget settings on unraid to the below and now no more issues with unpacking. Will do some more tests but looks like this resolved. I only got into this mess because the update link for nzbget on my docker page was broken (due to the previous maintainer stopping to maintain). My strong suggestion to you is, if nzbget is working without issue, don't play around with it just because the version link isn't available on the docker page. ghcr.io/nzbgetcom/nzbget:latest
  2. Not really. I didn't really do anything and it seems to have stopped. thanks
  3. Thanks for the reply as usual. Please find attached. beast-diagnostics-20221229-2251.zip
  4. Hi all, Posted on this thread where I have had issues of my unraid server crashing every few days. Seems to have resolved as per solution in that thread thanks to JorgeB. However, I am now having the same issue (although not as often). No changes to hardware and only have been updating dockers when I see any are outdated. I attach the syslog if helpful. it crashed yesterday 12/28 Please let me know if I can provide anything else to make it easier to diagnose. Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays (for those celebrating!) Thanks syslog crashing.txt
  5. Thanks JorgeB. Have changed. Will report back if any further problems. If not will mark as solved. much appreciated
  6. Thanks JorgeB. I can see the option but can't change it. Let me know if I am missing something. thanks again
  7. Hi all, My unraid server started crashing every few days while I was on 6.11.3. I haven't changed any hardware that should affect the server (swapped some fans out of the case) and did not change anything material on the software side (normal updates of the apps/dockers in the ordinary course). When this started happening, I updated the OS to 6.11.5. I also checked my logs after crashing but didn't find anything from before the crash. So after upgrading I set-up syslog to remote save the logs onto the same server and that is what I have attached. Not sure what the last line item of Dec 8 and the first one on Dec 9 (when I did a hard reset) is and if that is the culprit (maybe something to do with mover?). In any case, the below time is when I hard reset the server. Dec 9 13:58:03 Beast root: Delaying execution of fix common problems scan for 10 minutes I don't have a Ryzen based server. List of hardware as follows: CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 Mobo: Asrock Extreme6 Z77 Broadcom BCM57781 NIC - disabled vt-d for it to work . GPU: GTX 660 TI (MSI) 2gb - unused/disconnected HDDs: 3x shucked WD elements 14 TB (WD140EDGZ) cache drive: 1TB Nvme via PCIe RAM: 32GB ram Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks all syslog-192.168.100.62.log
  8. Thanks @JorgeB. Noted. Currently don't need it so will wait till it gets resolved before I fiddle around further. thanks again.
  9. Thanks. I disabled vt-d from bios and it worked. Frustrated that I didn't do that earlier as part of troubleshooting. Anyways, thanks for pointing out. Understand I can't use my Nvidia GTX 660 TI (MSI) in a VM passthrough.
  10. Hi all, New to UNRAID. Have spent a few weeks reading-up and about 6 hours today trying to resolve some initial set-up issues to no avail. My current issue is that I haven't been able to have my NIC recognized so no IP. After the OS install, I get eth0 does not exist. No IPv4 or IPv6 ips. I ran ethtool -i eth0 but get a response : "cannot get driver information: no such device" tried switching flash drives (was using OCZ RALLY2 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model OCZUSBR2DC-8GB then switch to Verbatim 8GB PinStripe USB Flash Drive, still same issue) tried switching USB ports (USB 2 first then USB 3) used df command, doesn't look off to me but this is the first time I am looking at it, please confirm I have DHCP and router has been assigning IPs to other devices with no issues. NIC worked fine in Windows OS. booting non-eufi and bios settings are set-up accordingly note that I have an Nvidia GTX 660 TI (MSI) connected by HDMI. However, After the boot screen and selecting unraid OS and the OS runs screen will eventually go all black (no cursor) then I have to switch the HDMI cable to my mobo HDMI port to continue with logging in (locally) using root pw. Side-issue but please let me know if there is any easy fix - assume need to install driver. please see attached logs please see list of hardware as follows: CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 Mobo: Asrock Extreme6 Z77 understand has a Broadcom BCM57781 NIC based on manual - is this supported? Couldn't figure out. If not, where is list of supported NICs and I will get an external one via PCI. GPU: GTX 660 TI (MSI) 2gb HDDs: 3x shucked WD elements 14 TB (WD140EDGZ) cache drive: 1TB Nvme via PCIe (to be added after building array and initial data transition) RAM: 16GB ram (to be upgrade to 32GB after building array) main use to will be to store media. will have a few dockers. No plans for VM at the moment . Please let me know if I can share anything else with you to make the issue easier to diagnose. Thanks all beastserver-diagnostics-20220527-2029.zip
