Arrggh...super annoying. Took your advice - disabled all but my plex docker container and things seemed totally stable. It was all fine and dandy. Ended up disabling the syslog stuff as I didn't want any wear and I thought the problem had been cracked. Didn't need the additional dockers anyway so was content to leave it like this. Then just a minute ago I come back to a kernel panic. Took a photo of the screen in case there is anything it can allude to, but otherwise think this is either the plex docker container or just a hardware issue and I'm gonna have to rebuild the whole thing to figure it out. Thanks - will do this now. Its just crashed again - now the system doesn't stay up for more than 5 minutes before a panic. It held on the error screen though...pasting here and then gonna reboot and do a syslog setup

Just happened again and I saw out of the corner of my eye the system having a kernel panic before the screen going blank ...again didn't really catch anything. If the diagnostics file above doesn't hold that info, is there is somewhere I can pull the kernel panic info to post here?

Hi All, Over the last week or so I've been getting some real strange issues with my server. It will just freeze. I have a monitor connected and it doesn't wake up when I tap a keyboard key. Once I did see some output on the console which was a Kernel panic, but instead of taking down details I stupidly just rebooted the box thinking it was a one off. Can't really figure this one out...thought it could be docker macvlan - but mine is set to ipvlan. Thought it could be realtek network drivers, but tried those and it didn't help. Wasn't using that network card anyway so went into the bios and disabled it along with anything else I didn't need hardware wise (wifi card, bluetooth, sound etc.). Tried updating to the latest version of unraid (I was only a few minor revisions behind anyway) but hasn't made any difference. Thought it could be something to do with parity checking as the server would start a check after a bad start but I cancelled the check and it still freezes after some random amount of time. Tried a memtest but it didn't come up with any issues either, so now I'm out of ideas. I've attached my diagnostics file and hopefully you guys can figure this out. Progress! With Deluge configured to bridge mode, I went into the docker settings, and enabled "host access to custom networks", configured the 192.168.0.x network in the same area as a custom network and that has now allowed the docker images to connect to Deluge running on the unraidip So as of right now, I've reconfigured it all to talk to it via that. Have no idea how it was working when I had them all on custom IPs, but as soon as I change the deluge to an static custom IP, the GUI breaks. Will leave it like this for now but keep poking around to see if I can get it working again with statics. Maybe the answer is for me to finally separate the deluge and the vpn/proxy into two dockers

And now a quick unraid forum search later - its by design...dang. Works fine when everything is set static, but if I want some static and deluge not, then the static dockers aren't able to connect back to my unraid box...will investigate further to see if I can figure this out.

Ahh ok I'm getting an error now in Sonarr which wasn't showing up before - "no route to host"...so a routing issue is what's stopping it from connecting to UNRAID:8118 Strange that it does seem to find a route when its on its own static IP

Containers all on same network (192.168.0.x) Did change the IP of other containers to use the Unraid_IP:8118 when I had set it to bridge. Didn't work as I said. Also tested with my Desktop where I just configured proxy settings in a browser. When on bridge mode, it doesn't work - firefox just times out. When its set to the static IP ( the 111 ) then it works without issue. Just checked for bypassed addresses and no, its blank at the moment, but I do have the "Bypass Proxy for Local Addresses" checkbox enabled which I assumed did the same thing. Just tested by adding my range and it still doesn't work.

Continuing to try and figure this out: So although the GUI works when switching back to bridge mode, and the VPN is definitely connected, the privproxy doesn't allow any connections...none of my other docker images can access the privproxy. Switching back to a static IP, privproxy works again but the GUI obviously stops. I've uninstalled the RealTek drivers to see if it makes a difference and unfortunately it does not.

So I did two things actually - firstly switched from macvlan to ipvlan as you've just said - read a help article suggesting it because I was getting some random lockup issues with unraid and that seemed to solve them. I did switch it back to macvlan to see if it fixed it and it didn't. The second thing I've done recently is install this plugin/driver: Specifically because it was suggested to do that if I have that card (R8125). Perhaps it may be worth investigating removing that plugin to see if it allows me to set an ip address again, as it was a mighty handy feature to be able to have it running in its own little range along with my other dockers.

Interesting - that does fix the issue. Is this something thats changed recently? Ive had it configured with that static IP (all my docker images are set to static defined IPs) with that LAN range filled in without issue.

Just ran the diskspeed docker and as far as I can see everything looks normal - drives are performing close to each other in specification - no one drive is exclusively showing slow. Hi All, Hoping you can help...scanned the forums and tried everything I can think of. Doing a parity-sync after replacing a parity drive with a bigger disk. Currently getting 16MB/s and an estimated 11 days to complete the sync. So far - replaced SATA cables, changed controller, reseated power and sata cables on both ends, changed a HD tunable (md_num_stripes) from default to 4096 (server has 32GB RAM) and installed the "fix common problems" and "tips and tweaks" plugins to see if they gave me anything.
