  2.

    Hey all,

I have been struggling to find a solution to this issue. it happens all the time and I have to manually remove then, which is a pain and time consuming.  I have user scripts installed, but running the dangling images script does nothing below is the output from the script. Does anyone know what's wrong or am doing something wrong?

    Script location: /tmp/user.scripts/tmpScripts/delete_dangling_images/script
Note that closing this window will abort the execution of this script
"docker rmi" requires at least 1 argument.
    See 'docker rmi --help'.

Usage: docker rmi [OPTIONS] IMAGE [IMAGE...]

    Remove one or more images
    Finished
if an error shows above, no dangling images were found to delete

I have attached a screen of the dangling images and diagnostics.

    Thanks :)

i had a vmdk from my qnap what i did to get it working is Thx to lots of googling.

open a console on unraid and type

    qemu-img convert -p -f vmdk -O raw /mnt/user/<the location of your vmdk file> /mnt/user/<the location of your new file>.img

than make a VM and link to that img file and start it.

    Worked for me

This worked for me, thank you so much :)

  4. It's all local. if I look at Sonarr for instance, the path variable it `/mnt/disk1/media/tv/`

haha I think I see my error. I need to change Sonarr from `/mnt/disk1/media/tv/` to `/mnt/user/media/tv/`?

If so, how will that affect the data on disk1?

Cannot see any obvious reason why the files are only going to the first drive :(  Maybe somebody else will spot something :) just as a check are you sure you are. Opting the files to the User Share and not explicitly to disk1?

on a completely different issue I can see entries in your syslog of the form:

    /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/parity.check.tuning/parity.check.tuning.php "monitor" &>/dev/null

is there any chance you could do the following for me:

    1. enable the Testing mode of logging in the settings for the Parity Check Tuning plugin
    2. go to Tools->PHP Settings and set the Error Reporting Level to All
    3. let the system run for a while until the plugin’s Monitor task runs again.
    4. let me have new diagnostics at that point and also any entries in the PHP logs that reference the plugin.
    5. set the items you changed in 1) and 2) back to their original settings to avoid excessive logging.

Hopefully this will give me the information to stop those log messages appearing as they indicate some sort of issue with that plugin that I have not managed to reproduce on my test system.

I also notice that Fix Common Problems is reporting some issues with the scheduling options for the CA Update plugin - not sure what but probably worth looking at.

    Thanks for info and advice.

global share setting look ok to me

I have made the two changes and will send the new diagnostics in a few mins.

Format option is only available after array start, but the problem is the pool, you are running into a known issue, reboot first, then click the first pool device and change the fs from auto to the one you plan to use, btrfs or zfs, then start array.

@JorgeB thank you so much, that did the trick. Formatting the array now.

Have you formatted the drives (the option near the array Start button).  Until the drives have been formatted while in the array it is normal for them to be unmountable as at that point they have no file system.

I don't have the option to format

  8. I have started a new conifg to create a new array with new drives, now when I start the array it hangs on  Array Starting Mounting disks.

I can start the array in maintenance mode, but it never mounts.  How long should it take to mount?  How else can I troubleshoot this?

    Thanks

    Nick
