Von 6.11.5. Musste damals ja von 6.12.3 downgraden weil ich die Freezes und Crashes hatte. Seit Dienstag aber keine Probleme, scheint, zumindest für mich, gefixed zu sein.

Also ich habe es gewagt und auf 6.12.4 aktualisiert. Bisher scheint es zu funktionieren.

Just a wild shot: do you have SMB enabled? Could be a total coincidence but my crashes were much less often with SMB disabled. At the end I still reverted to 6.11 because I need SMB.

Yup, the MACVLAN / IPVLAN issue. No matter what I chose, it kept crashing, even when disabling docker. One day I found a weird SMB error message in the logs, disabled SMB sharing and it wasn't crashing for a while. Not 100% sure if this was the culprit but definitely a weird concidence. Completely disabling SMB was not an option, hence the restore to 6.11. If I find some time, I could try the newest 6.12.3. That could be. Just looked up the official relase dates and it very much could have been Bulleye. That's the only and logical explanation.

I did downgrade because the system was freezing constantly several times a day. I am not the only one with that problem. There is already a german thread with this problem and an english one. I also tried to deactivate docker and use LXC only, but the problem persisted. Since we need an stable internet connection for working from home, I did downgrade. I suspect it has something to do with SMB, but didn't have the time to investigate further. Also my drives were not happy about the hard crashes multiple times a day... I read the note about cgroupv2 on the first page and that did the trick. Thank you! Also quite confusing as I am pretty sure I did run Debian Bookworm on 6.11.5 without adding cgroup2 to syslinux. I have problems starting LXC since I downgraded back from 6.12 to 6.11. Now LXC containers won't start anymore. This is the message I get: lxc-start -F DNS Failed to mount cgroup at /sys/fs/cgroup/systemd: Operation not permitted [!!!!!!] Failed to mount API filesystems. Exiting PID 1... In the downgrade notes I found following Docker is working fine after an force upgrade, the command docker info shows Cgroup Driver: cgroupfs Cgroup Version: 1 Not sure why LXC won't start anymore. Any suggestions I can do?

Ich bin der Methode "Manual upgrade from the Unraid command line" von hier ( https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/upgrade-instructions/#manual-upgrade-or-downgrade ) nachgegangen. Habe die Befehle nacheinander in die Console eingegeben. Beim 1. Boot hatte das DHCP nicht funktioniert, habe dann einfach neugestartet und dann klappte es. Dann wieder die alten Einstellungen wie macvlan und so eingestellt und die Docker Container zwangsupdaten (Wichtig, werfen sonst Fehler).

Oh lol, seit Tagen versuche ich den Fehler zu finden und hier gibt es gleichgesinnte die nach dem Update auf 6.12 auch das Problem haben. Hatte erst das Problem dass sich das System immer aufhing und ich auch nicht mehr per ssh connecten konnte und immer per Knopfdruck die Maschine hart ausschalten musste. Dann nach Änderung auf ipvlan war das Problem "leicht" besser, trotzdem gibt es alle naselang eine DNS/Internetuntebrechung. Ist etwas nervig für meine Familie wenn die Netflix gucken wollen und es alle paar Minuten stehen bleibt. Ich hatte Docker als Vermutung für das Problem, ein Gast WLAN in der Fritzbox eröffnet und siehe da, hier gab es keine Probleme. Habe dann testweise Docker deaktiviert und Unraid und co. im LXC Container laufen. Das Problem mit den Unterbrechungen existiert immer noch. Also doch nicht ganz Docker schuld. Habe dann SMB Dienst deaktiviert und seitdem scheint es ohne Unterbrechungen zu laufen? Vieleicht auch Zufall, aber aktiviere ich SMB kommen wieder die Unterbrechungen. Da ich nach Tagen nun etwas genervt bin und meine Familie auch, kann man auf 6.11.x downgraden? Oder müsste ich hier alles neu einrichten? Es scheint jedenfalls der Wurm drinzusein ab 6.12 wenn man eine Fritzbox hat? Edith: Nachtrag, habe Downgrade auf 6.11.5 gemacht und nun läuft wieder alles. Werde bei den nächsten Updates mal das Forum im Auge behalten und gucken ob ein Update ggf. Probleme macht. Zum Glück war das Downgrade ziemlich problemlos. Einzig die Docker Container brauchten ein Force Update.
