My crashplan plugin didnt work after upgrade but crashplan was running ok.
After running installplg again, it worked fine (and restarted fine)

What is the best way to update the spotweb software? without to starting from scratch ?

I have just done this. If you have a standard install (not hand edited any files) it is easy.
1) Copy the new files over the top. I did this via smb share
2) open terminal session as root
3) cd to the directory where it is installed (mine is /mnt/cache/.custom/www/spotweb)
4) type: php upgrade-db.php
5) for luck, I restarted the web server

using unmenu?
I renamed the directory, set the mysql pkgmanager variable for location to: cache/.mysql
did a reinstall using new variables and rebooted.....

How I fixed sickbeard with spotweb on Unraid using simplefeatures webserver...
I renamed the .htaccess file (to x.htaccess) so that it isnt used and just used the rewrite rules in the lighttpd.cfg described.
Stopped sickbeard and edited the config.ini for sickbeard manually and added the http:// to the server ip. Then restarted sickbeard.
If I added http:// in the UI, it was not written to the config file.

My setup is pretty much the same, however I have a "." on the directory that mysql and www are installed in to stop mover from interfering.

It might help with low power servers not having to do all the indexing .... spots are provided via news itself!
(People have it running on a raspberry pi)
Looks like sab/headphones/couch have been integrated

spants, that file, just so I can understand, what is it doing exactly?
It just tells the os to use those permissions when creating a directory or file by smb - ie windows

Note: cache_dirs keeps my drives spinning all of the time - (cmd line or plugin version). I have 6GB ram installed with 7 drives. I cant exclude directories either. Unraid 5.0 rc8a.
Also, I am having problems getting unraid stats to show the graph. It worked on the older non-plugin version of simple features v1. It will show the historic figures though - it just doesnt seem to log any new ones.

I had all sorts of problems with SMB after upgrading to 5.0-rc8a. I think that the smb code has changed.
To fix (seems to work most of the time.....YMMV)
create or edit the file SMB-EXTRA.CONF in \\tower\flash\config (config directory on flash drive)
... add the following lines...
[global]
security = USER
guest account = nobody
public = yes
guest ok = yes
map to guest = bad user
force create mode = 0660
force directory mode = 0770
force user = nobody
force group = users
create mask = 0660
max protocol = SMB2
... you may have to reboot afterwards.

I thin k the SCREENS add-in on unmenu allows you to run a session and disconnect/reconnect at will without closing it

for the little extra, I would go for the 3tb - Im just buying one to release a 2tb but future purchases will be 3tb. Will also cut down on the number of drive bays you need (if you standardise on 3tb) because your requirement *will* grow!

dont forget that the parity must also be as large or larger that the largest data disk....
People seem a little off now with seagates as they only offer 1 year warranty, so that may be a consideration. WD Reds seem the new favourite but they dont seem to be available here in the UK yet.
I haven't had much problem with drives so cost is important for me. I have just ordered the 3tb seagate for £104.99 inc delivery/vat from ebuyer.

Seanant - the two controllers arrived today in the UK safely. Wasn't asked to sign for them by the postman but wanted to let you (and others) know that they arrived.
BTW, I had quite a few PMs from people worried by the lack of contact with you during the buying process. Can I suggest that you raise the price slightly to cover your costs and time so that you can confirm receipt of funds/dispatch/availability etc. I think that it would actually save you time and trouble!
Anyway, thanks again for sending promptly at a great price.

I'll let you know when they ship. I received 14 orders in 3 days. One person here. All controllers are flashed and ready to go. I'll pack and ship ASAP. I haven't left anyone hanging - ever. So please be patient and I'll get the product out the door.
Next time I'll over a rush shipment option. ;-). Truth is I didn't received the batch of controllers until Friday. I thought they be in on Tuesday. Short version. The units are shipping tomorrow am on my way in to work.

Hi seanant
sent money via paypal on 15th for two to ship to the uk. You said "I'll ship today if you get payment to me by 1500 PST. SEnd payment with shipping details to [email protected]" but I have not heard whether you have sent them or indeed received the money (...have pm'd but I guess that you have had a lot of interest).
Please can you confirm that they have dispatched and any tracking details?. I have got my drives and cables ready to go!

Are you using eset antivirus? Had a similar issue and solved it and put the solution on the forum

i replaced the firmware on my router for dd-wrt and set QoS for bt and newsgroups to BULK, dns/voip to high and http to normal.
I can max out my line (50mb) with bulk, but as soon as http requests are made, these are given priority.
Now, I dont notice any slow down of web traffic. Before I had the same problem as you.

This seems to be some great mystery of the universe. Seems like a dozen of us suddenly started having this problem, but no answers exist. rdevName.22 not found, but I don't know what that means and why it didn't happen for months and suddenly it starts happening. I've disabled everything extra and still have the problem. No one has ideas on how to fix this?
Test with a clean install.
Short of purchasing a new license to put on a new USB flash drive, what files can I delete (after making a copy of course) to bring me back to a stock install? I disabled all plugins, auto installs, scripts, etc. already.
I just solved the same error on my system. Are you using ESET antivirus suite? The web scanner crashes emhttp on unraid. see http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=18333.0
