This plugin no longer appears to be working with 6.12.2, and I can't keep my USB drive connected long enough to complete a parity check from the previous hard shutdown because the USB drive doesn't stay connected. The internal updater for 6.12.3 did not take because the USB drive is not seen by the system, so I will manually update and check again.

Rebooting and restarting the server does reset the Samba visibility, but I have to make sure I catch it before the USB stick drops off again, else I have to go downstairs and restart the whole box. Still drops out of visibility on 6.12 stable, I was hoping the samba updates would take care of this.

It doesn't do it every time, but my Samba shares drop out of visibility on my Windows clients after the flash drive remounts. I do see the smb services restarting after the remount process, is there a command I can run as a stopgap? Rebooting does reset it

Trying this again. I have loaded Unraid onto 3 separate USBs, all through USB2, all what I would consider to be high quality. None of the recommended ones in the video are currently sold, and it's super difficult to find one from a legit brand under 32GB. Diagnostics attached. makalii-diagnostics-20230510-1501.zip

Can you clarify this one? I'm having this issue across three high quality USB drives, all on USB2. Is there an issue for the functioning of the array on the harddrives if it can't read from the flash drive?

New flash drive arrived today, and disconnected 2 hours into the new parity check.

All four USB2 ports have now failed. I have a new USB stick with a lifetime warranty coming tomorrow, but two of the three flash drives recommended in the YouTube video are either no longer for sale, or no longer offer sizes <64GB. Not sure how to proceed if that doesn't work.

Got an unclean shutdown error upon restarting in a different port, even though I stopped the array then shut it down through the GUI. See you all in 15 hours after another parity check...

Yes, I swapped it to another port late last night, and achieved parity this afternoon! Hooray! Now that I have everything set up and was starting a back up, it happened again. I have two more ports to try, so I will swap to another one.

Hi folks, just bought a basic subscription, and I've run into this error three times now while doing initial setup. I pulled the first flash drive, checked it through Windows 10 (no errors), started again with that drive, immediately downloaded a backup, errored out after about an hour. Swapped to a PNY 16GB drive, and about an hour into the new first parity setup it errored out again. My (old af) mobo only has USB 2.0. Anything else I can try?
