  1. I want to put a single docker container on a single separate NIC. Specifically I want to put a lan cache docker service to be solely running through my 10G NIC. I am having trouble trying to get to work. What's the easiest way to get this to work? Is it possible to get this to work with the secondary NIC being on the same subnet?
  2. Hi, I am running into a weird issue. Basically, out of nowhere my Unraid seems to be completely inaccessible from anything that is not Windows. I used to be able to connect to my shares via android apps like Cx File Explorer but now it does not work whatsoever. I also used to have my Unraid shares mapped to my QNAP Nas via HybridMount app which basically enables mapping network shares on the QNAP and now I cannot access my Unraid at all. I am for sure I have my credentials right. Also, if I choose "anonymous" for my credentials on android or QNAP I can see my shares but of course I don’t' have proper permission/access. I have Enable NetBIOS set to Yes and I have Enable WSD set to Yes. My diagnostics area attached as well as shot of my sys log when my Unraid server boots up - I am seeing some issues here but not sure how to address/correct. tower-diagnostics-20250325-1014.zip
  3. I just did and it passed. Removed the 3rd ram stick but still says Unmountable. At least I was able to get my data.
  4. I completly missed this..... Maybe it is my RAM. And you know what, I did add 1 stick of RAM to my server a couple weeks ago, and it was a random stick as well which was not the same speed as the existing RAM, whcih was a 2x8gb pair that I was using for a long time now without issue. I will run the test when I get home today.
  5. Thank you - I believe BTRFS restore was the solution for me. I was able to copy all the files from the cache to my Disk1. Now for my cache drvies, does that mean that they are toast? I assume I shoulnd't reuse these same drives again for my cache pool? I would have thought that since both drives have 99%-100% SSD endurance remaining that they would be fine. The drive models are rated for 1200TBW but they are consumer drives. Or could this be maybe a nvme controller issue? Should I be investing in "NAS" specific SSDs like WD Red SN700 NVMe? What would be the best way to mitigate this from happening in the future?
  6. my 2 cache drives are both not working. i am getting the error "Unmountable: wrong or no file system". The file system is btrfs. my diagnostics are attached. How can I fix this? For what it's worth, both cache drives have 99%-100% SSD endurance remaining. tower-diagnostics-20250120-1752.zip
  7. Thanks for this heads up as well! I deleted my docker image and then reinstalled everything. Regards,
  8. Thanks, I bought some extxra drives and was able to successful refill the failed drive. Everything is good now !
  9. Thank you. I assumed as much. This is the first time I'm dealing with any disk issues. I don't have any spares but I assume if I can buy new drive before any other disk failures and refill its contents I should be ok? I got it from best buy in 2023 so I assume I should have warranty.
  10. I got a notification that my disk 3 is disabled. I ran a SMART extended self-test and short test. The short test yielded nothing but the extended test yielded an error. I am not quite sure how to read it. What are the next steps here? It says that disk 3 is disabled. Test results are attached as well as diagnostics. 11. I was able to setup lancache and lancache prefill. I logged into my steam account on the lancache prefill docker and I was able to successfully test downloading a game on the prefill. I want to log into the prefill again and select additional games but I can't access it anymore. Does anyone know why? I get an error of System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I was able to login before but for some reason I can't login anymore to select more apps/game to download. I tried to restart the my server, lancache, lancache dns and the prefiill containers and that didn't help. Any input appriciated. I log into console on the prefill docker and then i get an error.
  12. I followed this tutorial for installing the lancache, dns and pre-fill containers and was able to install successfully but the speeds on steam drop off a cliff after about 10-20 seconds of downloading. I have multiples IPs set on the container and my windows PCs are able to ping the lancache container correctly. When I am downloading a game from the server, it gets full gigabit speeds for about 10-20 seconds and then drops to 50Mbits. I was able to setup the pre-fill container correctly too. I am certain I have installed the docker apps right and followed Spaceinvader One's directions verbatim. Does anyone have a solution for this?
  13. I am trying to access my unraid on my local network but I cannot connect. I can see the IP of my unraid from its display and it's 192.168.2.69 but I can't connect to it when I put that exact same address into a browser on my main PC. Both the unraid server and my main PC are connected to the same switch. Both are using 2.5gbe network cards. I also cannot access the proper GUI mode when I booth unraid with GUI. Nothing appears on the screen. Does anyone have any way I can access my server? I am trying to reset my whole server completely from new and format everything. Can I put unraid on a new usb and start again ?
