  1. Thats a little odd, the disc that was clicking, and was replaced was disk2.
  2. endleesss changed their profile photo
  3. I reinstalled the old drive back in the array. Now disc 2 is device contents emulated one-diagnostics-20230302-0000.zip
  4. I was able to update to 6.11.5 from gui, then using a different usb port for the flash drive. But after boot, the array did not start. All disks are not assigned, and I can't assign any physical drives. They all say no device. - - - On 6.9 I am unable to replace a drive: I don't understand these problems. I'm very scared of loosing data and I'm about to give up and buy a Synology or QNAP
  5. I replaced a drive that had clicking noises. What I did was, shut down the server, removed drive, replaced drive, turn on server, then started the array. That was about 20 hours ago. Today the disc has a red x, with a pop up Device is Disabled, Contents Emulated. Help please
  6. Diagnostic zip one-diagnostics-20230118-2219.zip
  7. I did restored the boot flash drive, by copying all files to my pcs. then copying the contents of the 'previous' folder back to the root of the flash drive. I am back on version 6.9.2, and would like to update to version 6.11.0. I used the gui to update to 6.11.0, update successful, then reboot. But when I reboot, i'm stuck on mount: tmpfs mounted on /run. waiting up to 30 sec for device with label UNRAID to come online ... xhci_hcd 0000:00 :10. 0: Error while assigning device slot ID xhci_hcd 0000:00:10.0: Max number of devices this xHCI host supports is 32. usb usb7-port2: couldn't allocate usb_device not found - press ENTER key to reboot . . . - - - What can should I do to update to 6.11.10?
  8. no backup of flash. I saw this from another post, how do i get to this part? 'If you updated using the GUI you can revert to the previous release by copying the bz* file from the /previous folder in the flash drive overwriting the new ones.'
  9. I had v6.9, upgraded to 6.10.2 with the GUI. Now the system does not boot normally. I booted with Unraid OS Safe mode, and found it's stuck on this: - - - - - mount: tmpfs mounted on /run. waiting up to 30 sec for device with label UNRAID to come online ... xhci_hcd 0000:00 :10. 0: Error while assigning device slot ID xhci_hcd 0000:00:10.0: Max number of devices this xHCI host supports is 32. usb usb7-port2: couldn't allocate usb_device - - - - - I have a usb keyboard plugged in. What should I do now? Thanks
