Hello folks, I've been using "Unraid" for a few months and also have some Docker running and I'm happy with it. Now I wanted to set up different game servers (e.g. Valheim, Palworld) and I have the problem that the servers don't start because there is supposedly no network connection. Below is the log from the Palworld server. In the Palworld log you can see that a download is taking place and my public IP is also recognized. To check whether the docker has a connection to the internet, I installed ping and can resolve names and ips. The docker works in a VLAN, my Windows PC can start a dedicated server in the same VLAN without any problems. Am I missing something? Maybe someone else here has an idea? Hallo zusammen, ich habe es leider erst jetzt geschafft mich zurückzumelden. Die Hardware ist eingetroffen und zusammengebaut. Die ersten Verbauchswerte sehen ganz gut aus (Denke ich^^). Gemessen wurde mit einer Gosund EP2 (Geflashed mit Tasmoata und kalibriert). Aktuell liegt der Verbrauch zwischen 9-13 Watt (Platten sind im Spin down). Als Platten sind im Moment eine Western Digital WD Blue 4TB () und eine Seagate BarraCuda 3TB (ST3000DM007-1WY10G_ZFN1DYMR) im Einsatz. Die Platten werde ich in nächster Zeit tauschen. Die Intel Pro 1000 VT Quad Port habe ich wieder ausgebaut, da der Verbrauch direkt auf 25 Watt angestiegen ist. Hat hier einer, eine Empfehlung für eine Alternative? Ich vermute nicht ^^ ASPM wurde im Bios schon Konfiguriert und das "package c state limit" auf C10 gesetzt. Bin gerade dabei das iGPU Plugin zu installieren. tips & tweaks Plugin habe ich schon eingerichtet. Was sagt ihr zu den Werten? Gibt es noch must have Tools/plugins die auf einen Unraid System nicht fehlen dürfen? Nerdtools habe ich installiert. Über Rückmeldungen würde ich mich freuen. Allen noch einen schönen Abend 🙂

So bestellt. Ich habe die 2TB gegen zwei 1 TB getauscht und dafür 64 GB RAM bestellt. Ich werde berichten wenn alles zusammengebaut ist. 🙂 Hoffentlich kommt noch alles vor dem Wochenende 😅

Hallo Unraid Forum, durch mein Interesse an einem neuen NAS bin ich von Fertiglösungen, verschiedenen NAS Betriebssysteme, auf Unraid gestoßen und zum Entschluss gekommen, mein nächstes NAS soll ein möglichst effizienter Selbstbau mit Unraid werden. Bisher nutze ich ein sehr altes Synology DS213 mit zwei 3TB Platten im Raid 1, hier werden einmal in der Woche alle meiner Docker von Proxmox (HomeAssistant, Paperless, Heimdall und noch ein paar weitere kleine Docker) gesichert. Sobald das Unraid System steht, sollen weitere Docker wie eine Nextcloud und Plex folgen. Ich habe verschiede Mini PCs von HP hier liegen, meine Idee ist die CPU aus einem dieser PCs zu nutzen und das restliche System darauf aufzubauen. Nur bei der Wahl der CPU bin ich mir noch nicht so sicher und würde mich über Anregungen freuen. Hier einmal eine Liste der vorhandenen Hardware: ProDesk 400 G6 Intel i5 10500T ProDesk 400 G3 i3 7100 Pro Mini 400 G9 i3 12100T 1x Samsung 980 Pro 2TB Mehrere Festplatten in den Größen 3 und 4 TB (Seagate Ironwolf) Intel Pro 1000 VT Quad Port Meine derzeitige Planung sieht wie folgt aus: Inter-Tech Case IPC Server 4U-4088-S (Vielleicht wird es auch nur eine 2HE Version) i3 12100T Noctua NH-L9i-17xx Kontron K3843-B MB B660 32GB Samsung DIMM 32GB DDR5-4800 DIMM CL40 Single (vielleicht auch 2x 32GB) Samsung 980 Pro 2TB als Cache (Hier würde ich zeitnah eine weitere 2TB nachrüsten) Das alte DS213 würde ich erstmal weiter für die Sicherungen Nutzen. Da ich bisher nicht abschätzen kann was durch die Nextcloud und Plex an Daten dazu kommt, war meine Überlegung erstmal zwei der vorhanden 4 TB zu nutzen und bei bedarf gegen zwei 16TB/18TB zu tauschen. Hier im Forum ließt man immer wieder vom Corsair RMx Series 2021 RM550x 550W, dieses Netzteil gibt es neu nicht mehr zu kaufen bzw. ich habe keinen Händler gefunden. Welche Alternative würdet ihr vorschlagen? Auf eure Meinungen und Tipps bin ich gespannt. Ich wünsche euch noch einen schönen Abend 🙂
