Good question.....I will have to look. It wasn't a large volume of data so I wasn't stressed about it at the time - I just noticed the pattern.

I see the same issue, as well as files that contain the tilde " ~ " character, which is generated by stoopid Windows programs. Everything else is moved, except files with these two characters in them (with "validate input filenames" set to "no"). *edit*: It also applied to files with backtics " ` " in the name, but I didn't wan them there anyway so I removed those.

+1 I am actually quite shocked that it's not already been implemented. I can't even think of another NAS product that can't do this...
