  1. @JorgeB and for anyone else who comes by, removing one RAM solved it. However, i don't understand how that should be an issue. I've used this same RAM for a windows PC before this with no issues. Multiple memtest doesn't show any errors.
  2. @JorgeB I can try that, however I was wondering what gives you the impression that its a RAM issue or a hardware issue at that?
  3. @JorgeB Something new that I noticed: My docker container data also got corrupted. For Prowlarr and Radarr
  4. @JorgeB I see this, does that mean something? 9. Hey, I was able to resolve this using Dynamix File manager. Thanks a lot again. Just to add for when someone else sees this post, Dynamix File Manager can be used a File Manager for Unraid. You can view/edit/delete all the data and how it is stored on various disk. Allows copy and other operations too. Thanks @JorgeB
  10. You mean copy data data to an external disk? How can I backup. Unraid is actually supposed to be my backup.
  11. Hey Man, You've been of great help. Thanks a lot!
  12. Yeah, that's my issue. Suppose I want to have all the data in existing ShareA encrypted. I will have to add/allocate the encrypted disk to the share. Now, if I remove the my existing non encrypted disk (DiskA) from that share, and have only the encrypted disk (DiskB), what will happen to the data on existing disk? I suppose the share will show no data after I change the disk to only DiskB? Maybe I am understanding something wrong, are you suggesting first store all the data/ shares I want on encrypted drives data on a new disk (be it external or some other way) and then copy that to my modified ShareA with only encrypted DiskB. Is that correct or what you are suggesting?
  13. @JorgeB but how do i add some of the existing share to encrypted disk?
  14. Hey, what will be the correct/ most safe way to add a new encrypted disk to my array for few existing share and some new ones? All my existing disks are not encrypted and I am adding new disk for encrypted shares.
  15. Hey guys, I have a Unraid server which runs without encryption. I need help in setting up dedicated share which contains encrypted data for my photos and sensitive/ personal info like docs and Certificates. I am fine with external encryption using another service (containers, VMs, anything) which runs on top on Unraid share and in-turn exposes the Unraid share with added automated encryption/ decryption. Any pointers on how can I setup this? Are there any existing plugins which does this? Reasons I don't want to encrypt the whole array: I already have lot of data on it. Converting to encrypted disk seems risky to me. Large parts of my data include Movies and TV shows. I don't see the point in wasting resources on encrypting those? Please correct me if I am wrong or not completely right with the above reasoning. How else can I achieve my goal?
