I had the same issue if I changed the default port (8080) to anything other that 8080. And I am unable to reconfigure LightNVR to use a different port even after the initial setup. To reproduce issue: Change port 8080 at initial setup.

That did the trick, I installed an old Intel dual NIC I had laying around to get online and installed the RTL8125 driver (not RTL8126). Works perfect now! Thank you.

I just upgraded to a Gigabyte X870E AORUS PRO and I can boot to GUI and everything is detected, but I am unable to connect to my router. I've tried both static and DHCP, and a router reset, but it's always unreachable. My previous MB was a Asus Z10PE-d8 which had 2 NIC's and my new MB has a single RTL8125 2.5GbE Controller. My guess is there is some old config file that's messing with the ethernet controller, on my old MB i was only able to use one to the two NIC's not sure if that hints to something.
