Found the Error: In the GO script, i try to mount a path, that was to quick. Just wait a moment, otherwise it will block shfs.

Hi, I don't know why, but after a reboot, all my VMs and Docker containers have suddenly disappeared. Most of my shares aren't showing up either. Unraid reported issues unmounting user directories during shutdown, but by that point, there was nothing I could do about it. The data is all still there, but it doesn't seem to be merging correctly, so I suspect SHFS issues. I’ve encountered this problem before; I set everything up from scratch, only to run into the same error again shortly after. It seems to be related to the cache, as I can see some folders but not others. If I manually delete the `appdata` and `system` folders and reboot, it works again, but then all the Docker containers are gone (shares works). :( Does anyone have an idea how to fix this properly and prevent it from happening in the future? unraid-diagnostics-20260618-2205.zip

Danke, das hab ich gemacht. Mittlerweile hatte ich ja aber bereits eine 8TB als 2. Parity eingerichtet. Das führte dazu, dass ich trotzdem noch alle Daten (emuliert über die 2. Parity?) hatte, als ich die 1.Parity (die 4TB) abgeklemmt hatte. Insgesamt hat das Ganze fast eine Woche gedauert bis die defekte Platte gegen eine Neue ausgetauscht, die Parity gewechselt und die ehemalige Parity zur Datenplatte wurde, dafür ohne Datenverlust. Danke, Reed-Solomon-Code sagt mir tatsächlich was, nun hab ich es verstanden! Für jene die dies lesen und nicht verstehen: Das sind quasi Prüfzahlen die durch eine Formel errechnet werden, die dafür sorgt, dass bei der binären Darstellung der Prüfziffer, also in Nullen und Einsen, die Zahl auch dann noch eindeutig ist, wenn mehr als nur eine 0/1 von der Prüfziffer selbst unkenntlich ist, solange die 0/1en direkt nebeneinander liegen. Das ist z.B. bei den QR-Codes wichtig, wenn sie einen Kratzer haben, wird aber auch bei z.B. Fernsehübertragungen usw. genutzt.

Also ist die 1.Parity-HDD für die 2.Parity-HDD wie eine "normale" Platte und umgekehrt?

Ein ABgleich der Paritätsplatten findet also nicht statt für die Altdaten?

Hi, ich stehe gerade auf dem Schlauch. In meinem System (2x3TB +2x2TB + 1 Parity mit 4TB) ist eine 3TB-Platte ausgefallen, weshalb ich gleich zwei baugleiche 8TB bestellt hab. Also die 8TB als zusätzliche Parity eingesetzt und Array gestartet. => Läuft Will ich nun aber die defekte mit der 8TB ersetzen, bekomme ich die Meldung, das die Parity nicht die größte sei. Also stört er sich daran das die 4TB-Parity noch drin ist, oder? Da aber die Parity ja nicht auf die neue 8TB kopiert wird, kann ich ja nicht einfach die Parity killen, da dann ja die Daten weg wären. Platz die volle ausgefallene Platte zwischenzulagern und die Parity dann neu aufzubauen, hab ich nicht. Was mach ich da?
