Hi i have only 1 rtx 3060 gpu on my unraid server i use the gpu to run jellyfin , steam headless container which requires gpu , now i want to passthrough the same gpu to vm , without using vfio bind at boot , with vfio bind at boot i can passthrough the gpu to win10 vm but then it becomes unavailable for dockers and to make it available again i have to unbind and reboot . what i want is that whenever i run vm the gpu should passthrough to the vm and when vm is shut down the gpu should be available back to the containers ( ps: i turn off the containers when using vm so there is no conflict) . before i was using gtx 970 and on previous versions of unraid i was able to do this but now with rtx 3060 and new versions of unraid its not happening. i tried vbios dumping by following spaceinvaders video but no luck , the entire gui freezes when i passthrough gpu without vfio at boot . Also checked most of the previous posts and answers on forum

Hi , i want to use gamescope app inside steamheadless container, gamescope had some issues with nvidia drivers but this can be solved by adding nvidia-drm.modset=1 in syslinux config . I want to know to add this to sys linux config . I have found it from a YouTube video im totally new to this an elaborate explanation will be very helpful

I have installed system temp plugin on my new ryzen 9 5900x and gigabyte x570s motherboard , when i click detect it’s showing a big list of temperatures i dont know which is correct cpu and motherboard temps among those , need help attached a picture below thanks

How do i check if the unraid configuration is ok ? Im noob at this could you please guide ? it now worked for 3 hours and again rebooted while i was watching movie . today 4 times it has rebooted randomly .. i tested the hardware its all ok

My unraid server is shutting down randomly, it happened 3 times today …. Even the name of my server has got automatically changed to default Tower . after the restart it takes more than usual time to mount the disks and the docker service doesn’t start on its own , i have to manually start it from settings > docker . I have checked the hardware there is no issue. This thing is weird why is it happening and how automatically my server name changed to tower . im completely new to this please can someone help thanks

I have nvidia rtx 3060 12gb gpu installed on unraid server for running local llm AI models but its using only 7300mb gpu vram instead of 12gb gpu statistics plugin shows 7300 mb vram utilisation at 100% usage i have latest nvidia drivers installed by using nvidia plugin from community applications. can anyone please provide me a solution.

I am noob to unraid , i have set up unraid server on my old hardware to store notes and movies , i have transferred data to cache_speed disk from where the data is moved to array but the mover is moving data very slowly at 2 to 3 MB/sec and its been 2 days its moving 500gb of data . i have CA turbo write plugin enabled Tunable md write set to auto i am using a 1tb laptop hdd as cache drive , but i have noticed that even though i use ssd ( the other cache disk named cache_data ) as cache the mover speed is slow and same as using hdd cache . i am frustrated as this is taking forever to move the data to array . Any help would be appreciated im struggling with this. thanks
