  1. well i figured it out. on the boot menu that has all the drives listed, it was listed way at the bottom of 10 drives. I moved it up to 1st and that was that. thanks to those who, sent ideas.
  2. Replaced battery nada. reset to default bios settings then set to boot only to UEFI. Nada as well. is it even supposed to boot to uefi? or just to the legacy side of the usb? I ask because a project computer i have wont boot to uefi either. Brand new usb. gte some sort of red screen error message about secure something or another. grrrr
  3. I'll try but sounds too easy for the way my life works.
  4. long story short is i can now longer boot to unraid unless manual.
  5. Boot order is thus UEFI USB nothing nothing will not see non UEFI side of USB in boot order only in the "once time" options Thanks anyway
  6. So i pulled my USB drive out of my server to check to see if a different project would boot to unraid. All i cared about was it getting to the startup screen. It didn't but thats for latter. when i re inserted my USB to it's server it wouldn't boot into Uefi mode. About when it should start the process it dumps me back into bios. no mater what i try i can't get it to boot to uefi. I CAN get it to boot to non uefi mode by clicking it to boot from the disk one time, but it never accepts that mode as automatic. Does this make sense? Again, changed no hardware no settings until after it wouldn't boot, and then just the boot order. its been running fine for the better part of 6 years without needing to change a thing.

  11. exported with SMD only. I created other shares a few months ago and i didn't change any settings, before this issue I just realized the my SMB settings don't show. Export Yes Case sensitive Auto Security Public This utility is used for troubleshooting purposes. It will collect all of the system information and configuration files, and package these files in a single ZIP file which can be saved locally. Subsequently, this file can be included in your correspondence with Limetech or the Unraid forum. This will help others to quickly get the inside information of your system and provide better support to your problem. The following information and configuration files are collected: + /config copy all *.cfg files, go file and the super.dat file. These are configuration files. + /config/shares copy all *.cfg files. These are user share settings files. + Syslog file(s) copy the current syslog file and any previous existing syslog files. + System save output of the following commands: lsscsi, lspci, lsusb, free, lsof, ps, ethtool & ifconfig. display of iommu groups. display of command line parameters (e.g. pcie acs override, pci stubbing, etc). save system variables. + SMART reports save a SMART report of each individual disk present in your system. + Docker save files docker.log, libvirtd.log, libvirt/qemu/*.log and vfio-pci. Clicking Download will start the collection process and then instruct your browser to save the zip file locally. No personal information such as user names, passwords, or any other file contents not specified above is included by Unraid OS; however, your server name, IP address, and user share names will be included. Note that 3rd-party plugins may or may not store personal information in plugin-specific configuration files and/or output to the system log.
