  1. Is there a handy guide somebody could link on how to use the Fan Auto Control plugin? I've been playing around with it but I haven't been able to really figure out the relationship between the different variables. For context I have an all nvme nas, the fan is loud as hell, hence why I'm looking into the plugin. Playing with the plugin I was able to turn off the fan completely which is actually fine for the most part the thing does not overheat, but I'd want it to turn on if things did get hot. And frankly the fan RPM that result from me going up or down in the temp thresholds or pwm values seem pretty random to me. Any help would be appreciated
  2. I just got Unraid so I suspect I'm missing something trivial but I'm unable to access it through the Tailscale IP. I can access unraid with the local url still but not via the tailscale one, diagnostics attached. The machine appears as connected in the Tailscale dashboard. Additionally, I have Tailscale running on the same network on a Synology NAS, in case that is somehow relevant. EDIT: Never mind it's working now, for reference, following the steps from Todo88's post worked for me as well. Tower Tailscale Diag 20240122.zip
  3. There is also the claim of 20TB of usable space with the use of 4TB drives, which I believe might imply all disks in a single array with 1 parity disk. I do see a lot of conflicting opinions on whether it's a good idea to mix SATA and NVMEs like that or if it's advisable to put SSDs in an array at all. Would be good to know what the recommended configuration for this is. A single array with all SSDs like they seem to suggest? An array with 2.5" SATA HDDs and a ZFS pool with the 4 NVME slots? Other?
