  1. Thank you for the Enshrouded container!
  2. Did the DayZ container get borked since the latest DayZ Experimental build? My server gets to this point but not able to connect to it anymore. //edit weird - mpmissions folder was missing. Grabbed it from somewhere else and it launches fine
  3. I figured out the black screen...had to actually run RDR2 once to install the rockstar launcher and vc++ redis. Thanks for container - I'll have to do some more reading on how to customize a RedM server.
  4. I'm messing around with a RedM server - when I connect to the server, it's just a black screen with the RedM version number at the bottom right. Is there further configuration to do for these servers? I was hoping to just get a private vanilla instance of RDR2 running.
  5. Hey folks, I was able to get the V Rising container working well. I'm having issues with the Sons of the Forest. I am just using the default config, and not making any changes to ports. I wasn't able to see the game in the server list or direct connect to it with publicip:port or privateip:port - I've verified the ports are open and forwarded. The network test at server startup also passes with all 3 ports open. The only thing strange I noticed is when installing the container, it shows the first 3 image IDs already in use. Any other ideas or things to look for with this container? *Interesting though - the server shows in the LAN list and I can connect from there. Lanonly is set to false in the config. So seems even though it finds the ports are open, it is not forwarding properly. **Ah - figured it out. I have a Pfsense firewall and didn't realize what type of NAT I was using. I'm using NAT + Proxy. I added privateIP:PORT to the IP parameter in the config file - now I can connect via the LAN menu and external can connect via dedicated menu. The other option on Pfsense is to use Pure NAT. This would create a hairpin NAT so I would be able to connect via publicIP:port in the dedicated menu as well as external. This doesn't really matter to me, so just left it with NAT + Proxy..works for me.
  6. Hey, thank you for your help. I knew it was much simpler than I was making it out to be. I re-installed the V Rising docker container and followed your steps and it is working fine now. Thanks for putting this together, this is great. So nice to be able to consolidate these game servers into Unraid Docker.
  7. Ok right - list on Steam and Listen on EOS are disabled - but attempting to direct connect with publicIP:port hangs. Direct connect via internalIP:port is OK. I didn't change the V Rising docker container server from the default ports. I did change the ports for my other docker servers, so maybe that's why they are not working. By delete the old port templates, you just mean use the "remove" button on the docker container port field and then add new ones? I'm going to try starting fresh with just V Rising and see where it gets me.
  8. It's a flat network, just 1 subnet for LAN. Router on a stick. I downloaded the V RIsing Docker container from the Unraid Apps tab. I left the default ports, 9876, 9877 (I used these ports on my previous setup). ServerHostSettings matching I feel like it's something really simple I'm overlooking...
  9. Hi All, I'm new to Unraid and Docker. I've hosted game servers for a while, but usually from a Windows device. I had some Conan Exiles, V Rising, Icarus, DayZ, Sons of the Forest servers. I've setup some Docker game server containers via Unraid for Rust, V Rising, Conan Exiles, and DayZ. I cannot figure out why external access to the servers is not working for me. I know it's not my firewall. I'm using the same ports as I would have for these servers in my previous Windows setup and running a policy test on the firewall confirms my ports are open from the WAN and forwarding to the correct host (the Unraid host). I have confirmed the Unraid host has internet access. I have tried using both bridged and host network for the Docker containers. I thought maybe Unraid had a firewall of its own - but I am reading it does not. I'm reading that what I'm trying to do is supposed to be super simple...maybe I missed something really simple in the setup - I'm not really sure. Any help would be appreciated!
