I backed up my current stick to my desktop, created a new USB (I had a brand new stick). It would not boot with a stock install. Kept telling me to install bootable media or something (should have grabbed a screenshot). Swapped my old one back in (for the 20th time) and it booted up just fine past the error. I don't like that this issue is probably still lingering out there. Did I miss something setting up the new one? The utility it pretty idiot proof. I have remedied my backup issue and now have a backup on Connect.

I have had this issue for a while and ignored it. A hard reboot would always get past it. Until tonight when I tried to update to the latest version. I replaced all the bz files and the change file but the issue persists. I'm not sure why but I do not have a flash backup in Unraid Connect. What are my next steps to get back up and running? ETA: Not sure why but Unraid does not show that I have any license keys either. I bought a lifetime license a couple of years ago before the price went up.

How long did it take to fix itself? Mine has been stuck that way for two hours.

I have moved TBs of data this way, not sure what has changed. I am connected via SMB. When I try to copy to any of my shares I get an error 50. User access shows read/write permissions. I ran the fix permissions tool. I can play a file directly from the folder, just cannot add to it. I rebooted the server and my Mac.

What causes this? Had this error show up tonight playing a movie. No issue playing from my TV shares. We watched a movie last Sunday so the issue appeared within the last week. I was able to play the movie directly through the docker, streaming to my TV was the issue. I ran the Docker Safe New Perms tool and it fixed the issue. Was it an issue with Emby or another docker? Emby shows uptime of there days so I'm assuming there was an update this week.

I watched Space Invader's video on setting this up but it's not exactly what I want to do. I'm sharing my Emby server with my parents. Is there a way it will wake up just by someone trying to login to Emby?

I finally managed to get Nord setup and connected to Australia. I'm struggling routing Emby through it. The few attempts I have made crash the docker. My remote connection to Emby is presently timing out. Which ports do I need to setup in Nord for Emby, the local or the public (or both)? What settings need to be added in Emby/Swag?

I was not aware I could connect it the other way. This is my first foray into Unraid (well, really any true server) and one of SpaceInvader's videos talked about adding it as an unassigned device. I did get it to work. As you noted, I had sharing permissions wrong on the other side. It is awfully slow though. I will explore the other option. Appreciate the feedback. This has been quite a learning experience for a non-tech person.

Trying to move data from a Windows 10 machine to Unraid via the network. Tried to add it as a Remote SMB. It can find the Windows machine but it does not list any shares. No matter how I enter the drive path it fails to connect. What am I missing?

New Unraid user. At the blue menu, I am not able to select any of the other options and after five seconds it boots. I tried downloading Unraid again to the USB, no change.
