  1. Did anyone end up figuring this out I am getting this same messgae about missing the NIShadders. Tried reinstalling the container but it did not fix the problem.
  2. I will send you a DM later today with what I have configured. I can get all the info you need to you to get a better idea of what may be going on.
  3. Where would be best to reach out to him at? His docker repo?
  4. Has anyone in this form tried to set up a Ark Ascended cluster and had success?
  5. Hello, i have been following this to try and set up a second server for Ark Survival Ascended as my first 1 is using a premium modded map. I was trying to this to have a free map that my friends could still play without having to buy the premium map. But the issue I am running into is, while I can see both servers after doing a refresh on the server list in game. I try to join the new one and it puts me into the current map for some reason. I could provide the .xml if needed for further investigation. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  6. So, I recently got a new router to replace my ISP provided router through AT&T. I am using the ISP router as an IP passthrough so it is acting as just the modem now. I have been able to get my server connected to the internet without any issue. I have an AdGuard DNS container as well that is working as expected. I got the Ark server up and running and can see the server listed in the Unofficial tab as expected (This is on ps5 FYI). But the problem I am running into is that every time I go to join the server, the connection times out every time. I am not all that familiar with the Deco app and was wondering if there is some configuration that I would need to set up in the app (other than port forwarding as that is already done). If anyone is has experienced similar problems, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  7. That's what I figured. Yeah, sorry about that. I can't find anything online for any of the set up. I am not sure what else to do, I will have to dig around and see if I can't find anything.
  8. I'm not sure what IP the PS% would be trying to use when joining the server. I am able to find the server in the dedicated server section. It just times out every time I am trying to join. I had this happen when I was using the server before, but all I ever had to do was restart the container. But that hasn't worked this time. But I have a deco router that I just got. So, I am trying to get used to setting up certain things in the UI.
  9. Where would I need to check that?
  10. Yeah..... never mind still didn't fix it. I am not sure what is causing the issue. Probably a port on the new router or something. I have no idea. But the server is up now at least. I just can't join it, lol.
  11. I believe I figured it out. Where I had copied the Original GameUserSettings.ini file and replaced the new one. It still had the active mods set but I didn't have the -mods command in docker param's.
  12. Yeah, that didn't fix it still timing out.
  13. I do have the server back up and running. But I keep timing out now when trying to join. I know I have had this issue before and all I had to do then was restart the server. I may try and restart my whole hosting PC and see if that does anything.
  14. So, would this rebuild WINE at container start?
  15. After doing these steps it is now working. I assume the WINE may have gotten corrupted or something.
  16. Yes it was working before, it had been awhile since I got on the server. Which is why the latest log is from 08/17/2024. When viewed after being stopped it reads "terminated" I did not remove the folder I had just removed the container I can try to remove the folder and go from there.
  17. Hello all, I seem to be having an issue with my Ark Survival Ascended server. It is stuck in this restart loop and will never boot all the way up. Every time it gets to "waiting for logs" in the logs report it force close's the log dialog and will do it over and over again. Sometimes it won't even open the logs at all and I am not sure what is going on. Is it possible that I have to delete all my data and start from a new folder? Or has anyone else ever had this problem? The last log it was able to report was back in August of this year and hasn't had any since then. I did run a command to clean the log folder, but it is still doing the same thing. I also have tried uninstalling the container and reinstalling it. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if there is more details you would need me to provide please let me know.
  18. I have another question, if I am running an Ark server is thisbonly visible on PC or is it able to show up on ps5 also? Or would there need to be different ports for that?
  19. I have the internal port for the container set to 7777 and another port for 27015. For the host port can it be different or does it have to be the same. The only reason for changing the port number is just it is more privacy on my side and not as easy to find out what port the server is running on and ect. As far as do I have to, no I don't. But just want to know if I would point the router to the host port is all. My misunderstanding was which port in the container I point the router port forwarding towards. I now know that the fixed port internal to the container is the one that the host port points to. Sorry to be a pain lol.
  20. Okay, I will take a look at that when I get off work then. Thanks!
  21. Does that use https?
  22. I more so am looking for what port to put in the router for the port forwarding. Like you have the container port number that cannot be changed unless you delete the port in the docker settings. Then there is another port that will let me change it with out deleting it. The second port would be my port I point the port fowarding to. I'm not able to log on to the unraid server ATM as I'm at work. I'd give more details if I had access to the server. Lol, I apologize for all the questions.
  23. Okay, and the ports for the server. I can make the container ports a different number right? Other than the fixed container ports which are I'm assuming internal to the docker. But the one that can be changes is external. And I would specify the external port number say IP x.x.x.x:7679 but the fixed port being 7777 for container.
  24. For the way I have my setup I would have to choose between running the ark server or using ad guard as a DHCP server. Reason being, I have my Ad Guard and the Ark server on the same device. My router doesn't allow me to configure the DNS server it is set as a default to their DNS server and can't be modified to be the Ad Guard IP address. So, I was using the Ad Guard as a DHCP server. The problem ends up being, while having the DHCP server setup the IP address is associated through Ad Guard. I guess technically I should still be able to though since it would still be assigned to the same Gateway, right? I haven't really gotten to test it yet. When I get my next check I plan to get some more memory to actually see if it is possible. Forgive me I am new to all this currently studying A+ and working on a bachelor's degree in cyber security and information assurance. The router I have doesn't really provide the best configuration details. I have an AT&T router.
  25. Okay, that is what I thought thank you for clarifying. I guess I will end up having to choose between running the server or having Ad Guard. Probably will choose the server. Lol
