THANK YOU!! I thought it was all gone because I put all my eggs in one basket... I won't do that again. As for the RAID controller, I'll get a software specific one that can go into IT mode, because I still want to have the server in a rack configuration. Thank you, again.

I'm starting to see that I'll see if I can get my data off the drives, and if not I'll come back. If I can get my data off I'll close the thread.

I am using a PERC H700, which it doesn't look like can be flashed into IT mode. Only looks like it likes hardware raid configs...

Not to my knowledge. Whatever firmware came with it is what's installed on it, so I'll see if I can flash the IT mode one onto it!

I should note that before taking this screenshot I moved the parity disk (that was disabled and couldn't be enabled) into the disks, that's why it says unmountable.

Hello! I have been struggling with this for a while now, and am finally doing the last resort... actually asking for help. Whenever I try to access the data in a folder I have, I get this in my server's console. The array has been unprotected because I haven't for the life of me been able to get parity working, and every time I try to do a SMART check (I'm probably doing it wrong, would love some direction) it doesn't work. Here is what I'm looking at in my array: The amount of data that's "used" matches up with what I'm missing. To be honest, I'm very new to NASes and RAID in general. Servers I have a bit of knowhow on, though. Would love some input on this... If you need me to upload any logs or anything let me know! I want my data back and this thing to be protected
