[Support] ich777 - Application Dockers
Well the main reason why it does not work properly in terms of bandwidth distribution is that my Router does not support some features e.g. QoS. This is why I desperately need to get some kind of bandwidth limiter.

Well as unfortunate as it sounds, my Router does not have any config options what so ever that's why I'll need to get another Router which you can at least configure such things. I even tried to get some custom Firmware onto the Router but without any chance. For your question about the daily usage of the prefill: Currently I am using it all the time to fill up the cache with all the games as fast as possible, but I am planning to set up a schedule to only do the downloads during the night once they have been initially downloaded. IMO it would still be better to be able to limit the traffic no matter how often you are using the prefill.

First of all thanks for the response and solutions. Here are some information for you to understand the current network/situation. Currently connected to my ISP via an wireless Router which gives internet to my network. This Router does not support any VLAN configuration thus meaning no Traffic Shaping nor QoS is available. When using the prefill the server uses all/most of the bandwith inside of the network for the download which leads for other clients to have slower internet speeds (for example watching some netflix). Don't get me wrong using the whole bandwidth during non peek hours is totally fine, but if I want to use them during during working hours I also want to be able to join a Teams meeting. I will try to add some kind of Firewall or another Router into my Network in the future which can solve this problem. However this will be a very time consuming project because I will legitimately have to redo my whole network structure and placement of the networking HW which I don't have the time right now to do. This means tha I have to take so some kind of a temporary solution for now until either you or unraid supports such feature.

Talking about lancache prefill

Could you please implement something to be able to limit the download/upload speed from the docker contaier? I am currently running into some issues where the download is using too much network bandwidth whilde downloading and thus causing other docker containers not to work properly.

Setting Network Speed limit on Unraid Server
Hi thanks for the answer. I will do that in a bit but however I think until this feature being implemented, a lot of time will have passed (months or even years). Does anybody know any other solution on how to do this manually? I even tried downloading apt and installing some kernel modules to use the tc command however without any success.

Setting Network Speed limit on Unraid Server
Well I am using the LANcache Prefill Docker which does not have any Settings for that what so ever. Any different ideas/solutions?

Setting Network Speed limit on Unraid Server
Hi I was wondering if there was any way how you could limit the network bandwidth on your Unraid Server without having to use external Hardware devices such as Routers, Firewalls etc... My goal is to achieve a certain Internet Download limit on a specific Docker Container. For example: Docker Container DC1 downloading at a speed of 1MB/s Did any of you ever try something similar?
