Didnt test this (just have on, but need another for parity disk), but for @JorgeB explanation it should work because they will get different IDs No, no problems, no need for diagnostics. This is the first major problem I've had with Unraid. Is it possible to force Unraid to install a specific USB driver or delete other drivers except the regular? I mean, the only thing I changed was swapping one USB key for another.

I tried your syslinux.cfg change. nothing happened except the 3 SCSI devices in System Devices were also gone. After that I was messing around a bit more and even tried plugging in a new Unraid stick, but I had the same issue where only some of the drives showed up. After switching back to my 'usual' stick, suddenly all the drives were there again. Now I'm too scared to reboot... IDs are the same (!), i switched USB-Plugs to 10G and everything is fine for now...

Hi JorgeB, the same enclosure worked perfectly fine until i tried to add an cache device today. After first boot, just one device showed up. Is it possible to reset the IDs ? I didnt change unraid version. I`m on unraid 7 beta 3.

Hello, my Unraid only recognizes 1 of my 3 USB hard drives (all in a multi-bay enclosure), and I can no longer build an array. System went well for many days, but after i tried to add an SSD cache not all HDDs were recognized anymore. Under "Tools" → "System Devices" → "SCSI," all devices are listed correctly. However, on the "Main" tab, only one of the 3 hard drives is recognized correctly. The others are not detectable. I have already tried a different USB port (currently using a slow USB 2.0 port because of this). Any ideas ?

Moin @alturismo, danke für deine Rückmeldung. Paar Fragen kann ich dazu beantworten: Das Array wird noch um 2 weitere WD14 erweitert. Die insg. 3 liefen in der Syno als RAID5 als SHR. Irgendwohin muss man die Daten ja schieben bei einer Umstellung . Ich erweitere dann noch um eine Daten und eine Parity. Der Mini PC hat nur einen internen SATA Port, ich hab daher ein Yottamaster 4 bay Gehäuse gekauft und habe über USB das Gehäuse angeschlossen. Das läuft ohne konfiguriertes RAID, quasi JBOD. Den USB Stick hab ich wegen der GUID und Wärmeproblematik gebenchmarkt. Wärmeentwicklung absolut im Rahmen. Läuft im Rackgehäuse im kühlen Keller. Der Stick hängt im USB2 Port, einfach auch um die "wertvollen schnellen" einzusparen. Die hohe CPU Auslastung der HA Instanz kommt durch den kürzlich zurückliegenden Reboot, da sind die Dienste einfach noch am hochfahren und verursachen Last. Im Idle lieg ich so bei 20% CPU nun. Die Punkte bringen mich einer Lösung nicht so recht näher, ich frag mich gerade primär, warum es tagelang problemlos ging und jetzt erst anfängt zu stottern seit ich umgestellt habe... Gruß und schönen Feiertag edit 11:44 Uhr:// Da mittlerweile die ganze Kiste quasi nicht mehr bedienbar war, habe ich mir den USB Stick geschnappt, Image als Fallback gemacht und habe Unraid nochmal neu auf den Stick geschrieben. Lizenz eingespielt, Array gestartet und alles lief wieder! Erreichbar ist auch alles ohne Probleme. Ich weiß zwar aktuell nicht an was es lag, aber jetzt geht erstmal wieder alles.

Hallo zusammen, ich bin blutiger Anfänger im Unraid und habe die letzten Tage meine erste Instanz in Betrieb genommen. Soweit hat alles funktioniert, Array in Betrieb genommen, Home Assistant und diverse Docker laufen. Ich war nun selbstsicher genug um von meiner Synology alle Daten umziehen zu lassen und habe das heute abgeschlossen. Nachdem ich nun weitere Shares angelegt habe, habe ich das Phänomen, dass die gesamte Weboberfläche paar Sekunden hängt (die laufenden Datentransfers ebenfalls bzw. brechen die auch ab. Ein dauerhafter Ping auf den Unraid zeigt, dass die Instanz alle paar Sekunden (unterschiedlich, manchmal 30 Sekunden, manchmal 5, dann wieder 20...) offline ist. Die VMs sind durchgängig erreichbar, sodass ich ein Netzwerkproblem (physisch) ausschließe. Das Problem ist garantiert nicht seit Beginn an, heute ist es mir nur stark aufgefallen, weil das Webinterface praktisch immer nur 20 Sekunden nutzbar ist. Habt ihr ne Idee, woran das liegen könnte ? So ist Unraid selbst nicht nutzbar. Logs im Anhang. Vielen Dank ! Ach, ich hab es (warum auch immer) für eine gute Idee gehalten unraid 7 beta 2 direkt zu nehmen. Gedanke war, dass ich direkt mit der neuen Oberfläche starte und mich nicht umgewöhnen muss.
