I used the quote : /mnt/user/Photos/« 2015 - Spain » and I got this error message that nothing found. Did the same for a folder that is working well : /mnt/user/Photos/« 2004 - Rome » and I got all files listed correctly. Is it a disk issue maybe ?

I have "No such file or directory". Strange cause I can download the pics. Other folders list the pics properly.

Hi everyone. looking for help here. I have potos stored on my Unraid share and some of the folders are not getting populated in SMB nor NFS but the files do exist. Error message : "***.tif" can't be found" on my mac. Using my unraid interface I can get access to those files and can download them (and use on my laptop) but can' t open them in Uraid preview (which works perfectly for other files). Any idea on what to do next please ? Thanks.

I am facing issues when moving files between MacOS and Unraid, trying to dig into this. So usual issue is that I move file from Unraid to Mac but I receive a message telling me that the file could not be deleted. I go to settings, Run permission tool and then it is fixed. Any option to run this through a batch scheduling or something similra please ? Thnaks.

Hello everyone. I am very new to Unraid and used Rclone for quite long on my Mac and PC but need support for Unraid. I don't want to use the web nor mount the volume of my remote, just want to run some background jobs to update my folders from remote Pcloud to my unraid and sync. I setup the container and it is working file but two questions please : How can I execute my scripts manually. How can I schedule those scripts to run every day ? Thanks.

Ok balancing done, I added the drive toi the pool but new config has done a full reset of the array and now I am afrfaid I can lose data or it will mirror again. No idea what to do. I read this : https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/storage-management/ Actually I have the option to set in Array devices as below : Slots : 3 Parity 1 : 18TB drive Parity 2 : unassigned Disk 1 : 16TB My questions are : Is that ok to start array or will I lose all my data that currently rewsides in the 18TB drive ? Should I setup maximum slot for my NAS ? I can use 4 drives in the case, but having Parity 1 and Parity 2, I assume I would have to setup to 5 slots ? Hi everyone. I am beginner so excuse my questions. I ran several times some video encoding using fileflows, everything fine but when I try to move the files with MacOS it fails due to permissions. Also somethimes happen to me that I cannot connect anymore to tower. Every time I run the permission tool using share and it gets fixed but that's not really convenient. SMB is on export / public. I would like to know how I can get this fixed please ? No option to run a script or an app in the store ? Thank you !

Got it and understand the mirroring. Now if I want to come back to a normal configuration, what are the steps I need to perform please ? Should I stop the array -> remove 16TB disk -> create new array -> add 16TB disk -> make 18TB disk parity ? Thanks.

But If I change this, am I risking to lose data ? Do I need to delete my current array and create a new one ? Thanks.

Hi everyone. I am first time user and setup my Unraid. I previously with a 18TB drive, everything was fine and just added a 16TB into my NAS. Now I have a weird storage display : volume has 17 TB / 7TB used / 3.96TB free. I can’t stop array because there is a btrf operation in progress and used capacity increasing progressively, now 8.3TB used. Wondering if this is normal and if not what should I do please ? Thank you
