  1. Gigabyte support replied 13 days later, with questions about this problem. I answered their questions and provided links to posts in online forums where others are facing this issue, while explaining that I already returned this motherboard to the seller. For those who can't just return it, you can try reaching Gigabyte support with detailed descriptions of this problem and check if they can solve it.
  2. I also ended up returning my Gigabyte MZ32-AR0. I requested official support from Gigabyte since 25/June/2025, they still haven't answered. I bought an ASRock ROMED8-2T/BCM as replacement.
  3. I have a Gigabyte MZ32-AR0 REV 3.0 (latest BMC Firmware 12.61.35, latest BIOS M23_R40), and I see the same problem, all fans always at full blast. There is no rpm sensor readings for any fan. Fan profiles in Gigabyte Management Console have no effect and only list 4 mysterious fans (BPB_FAN_1A, BPB_FAN_2A, BPB_FAN_3A, BPB_FAN_4A) similarly to what is shown in page page 109 of the user guide for Gigabyte Management Console ( https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/server_manual_mgt_console_user_guide_ami_v1.x.pdf ). The user manual for MZ32-AR0 revision 3.0 ( https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/server_manual_MZ32-AR0_e_v3.0.pdf ) actually shows in page 19 that this MB has 6 fans (CPU0_FAN, SYS_FAN1, SYS_FAN2, SYS_FAN3, SYS_FAN4, SYS_FAN5). I found that the user manual for MZ32-AR0 revision 1.0 ( https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/server_manual_MZ32-AR0_e_v10.pdf ) shows in page 90 that they had Fan Control settings in BIOS, but it was removed for the newer revision 3.0. @gyrene2083 , did you have to do something special to display the correct fans? What version of BCM Firwmare and BIOS are you using?
