Unraid File System Question
I'm setting up my new server, and after adding my arrays and waiting for Unraid to finish the Parity Sync, I notice that one of my arrays is NTFS and the other is Btrfs. Is this fine? I chose XFS, but Unraid seems to have chosen other formats. Is this normal? I thought XFS is the recommended default for arrays due to its stability. Can I change my arrays file system to XFS?

After lots of research and your recommendation, I decided to go with the Ryzen 7 5700G + MSI B-550-A Pro combo. Did you use the CPU stock fan?- Will These Parts Suffice For My Needs?
Appreciate your response. How has the Ryzen 7 5700G + MSI B-550-A Pro combination been working for you? Have you been happy with it?- Will These Parts Suffice For My Needs?
Hi Guys, I'm building my server around these parts. Please tell me if I'm on the right track, according to the Docker containers I list below that I plan to install. I had the Case, MB, PSU, and CPU lying around. MB - Asus Prime B450m-a ii CPU - AMD Ryzen 3 3200G RAM - G.SKILL RipjawsV Series DDR4 - 32GB Storage - 2X Seagate IronWolf 8TB NAS Internal Hard Drive Parity - 8TB Seagate IronWolf NAS Internal Hard Drive Cache - Crucial 500GB SSD, M.2 PSU - Corsair TX 650 These are the Docker Containers I plan to run. My question is this. Will I need more RAM? I'm not big on VM's but might try one or two in the future. This will be my first build. Nextcloud, Immich, Jellyfin, Vaultwarden, Audiobookshelf, Home Assistant, Calibre, qBittorrent, Nginx Proxy Manager and Paperless-ngx. I'm sure there will be more. I also plan to backup my security cams to this server.HollowOak started following Noob - What took me so long- Noob - What took me so long
Hi Guys, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a 40-ish-year RN who does all the tech for family and friends. I have no network experience, aside from self-hosting RustDesk to support my friends and family remotely. I also just put together a home server build recently, which is why I'm here. I had the parts lying around. I'm looking to get more knowledge on how to be more effective with data management and get into the wonderful world of Nextcloud, Immich, Jellyfin, Audiobookself, Calibre, and many others. The server I put together currently has 2 8-Terabyte drives but only 8GB of RAM. Will I need more RAM? I will be searching here extensively, trying to contribute when I can. - Will These Parts Suffice For My Needs?
