They take other vendors products and integrate them. With the current name I expect to .see and read about Seagate, Western Digital etc....

But the web GUI is hosed. I can start, stop and modify the dnsmasq.conf file no problem. When it comes to the web GUI no joy. Pretty much all the plugins are hosed. Should I just start over or is there a simplefix?

Bottom. Line sounds like we've all had our share of issues with bother online merchants. One is larger and been around longer. Can handle more volume with world wide presence. The other is a tech focused retailer that is trying to keep up with the big gorilla. Newegg has attempted to get in to the retrial market with household items.and more. New egg has however decided to no give customers an easy way to ship, return or exchange items without coming out of pocket. Amazon does this clearly by selling volume at a best price San getting the product to its customers corn exit to zero out of pocket. For me the.consumer I'm not going to spend my money with a retailer that will not help the consumer. All the local retailers price their products using amazon as a reference. This way there's no need to match pricing. Best boy is one of them. Value or loyalty? I'm going with value. I don't care how long a retailer has been around. I'm not giving any money away to a retailer because they use nifty sales tactics. Shellshocker is a cool term bit not always the best value.

One more note about the benefits of newegg vs amazon. On a every time basis amazon pays for shipping of anything you return. I had to return a bad drive to newegg last year. Newegg was kind enough to offer me a label to return the drive. I was not happy that I had to pay for shipping for a defective product. This was my last transaction with newegg ci returned the drive to newegg and bought the same drive from amazon and got it the next day for free. I'm in San Diego so most of the time I get the product the next day of ordered early enough the day before. That's all I have to say about this. :-)

Amazon is so much better when it comes to shipping. Delivering product. They haven been around much longer with more locations. ThenAmazon Prime membership is well worth $70 a year. If you haven't read about it or don't use if I can tell you from a few years of personal experience that Amazon Prime is much more dependable team newegg hands down The $70 a year gets you free 2 day shipping on anything amazon sells. This includes unraid components to cribs. They've just started something called prime fresh which is same day delivery for some items. Only in the LA metro area now in beta. Along with free 2 day shipping you have the option to upgrade to one day shipping for $3.99 per order. Oh yeah. Amazon Prime also includes free streaming similar netflix. Did I mention that Netflix is amazons web services biggest client. Netflix uses amazon to stream their videos. If you want to eliminate newegg shipping delays start buying off amazon. I moved away from newegg for the same reason. Newegg doesn't have the bandwidth to scale and handle as much as amazon. I got tired of the BS. I don't use newegg at all.
