  1. Ok I am going to ask the stupid quesion here. How do I get steam to point to this server. I want it private for now to test it out. port 28015 reports closed even though i port fwd through the router. Wondering if this is my issue
  2. Can you add a screenshot of your new settings? Calibre server (8081) should open the library at the address defined by the libraryinternalpath variable The books are imported into the config folder, not inside the container. Why don't you set the config folder to where you want to keep the library?
  3. Thanks will do -Edit to add screenshot incase it helps
  4. Ok I spoke a little too soon, but this is a different problem. Going to 8080 and selecting calibre works fine, going to 8081 it still thinks the library is at /config so it finds no books and causes errors. Where can I fix this?
  5. AH Thank You Guys, I updated and it works perfect now.
  6. I need some help with RDP-Calibre I installed and it loads fine, I have a large library that I want stored outside of the container. I added the new path and added the variable like the instructions said but as soon as I do it shows up as an orphaned image. Can someone please take a look and tell me what I did wrong?
  7. typo here it is ok on the server. I have a Foscam FI8918W I am trying to connect to it and I just cannot make it work I am going to have to read a bunch more on the zoneminder config
  8. Ok so I finally found out that it has to go in users/appdata For the container port is that supposed to stay on port 80? I am using another unused port # for the webgui but I am unsure if 80 will cause a conflict on unraid.
  9. Hi I am trying to install zoneminder on a new install of unraid 6, I just upgraded from 4.7 The problem is I am a complete Linux idiot and I think I did it wrong. In path to install and config I put a path to a share on the server and of course I cannot find it now with http://serverip:port Can someone please give me a step by step of what I am supposed to do to install this? it is my first unraid docker/app attempt.
  10. Preclearing a second disk now and everything looks normal, Maybe some transient error that cleared up on reboot. Thanks again for the input
  11. That would entirely depend on your hardware. It has absolutely nothing to do with the CPU or the RAM. It has entirely to do with the bus bandwidth to the disks and the I/O contention on the disk controllers involved. Joe L. I figured a Dual core AMD with 4GB memory would fair pretty well Joe L. Do you think this could be caused by the cheap masscool controller in the system? The MB has 6 sata 3gb connectors which are full. The only drive on the masscool is the one being precleared. The first cycle has just about completed step 10 and it has just about been 20 hrs so performance seems to be good that way. I am just looking for any tips that may keep the array a bit more usable while I am preclearing drives. Any advice would be appreciated. John

I Guess it is just sucking the bandwidth dry from the other disks. I *thought* that since the other drives were on the MB controller there would be less of an impact, but I guess it does not work that way.

  14. I am running preclear for the first time now and was wondering if it is normal for running a preclear to slow down writting to the array to a crawl? I understand it is working the drive but I am now copying data to the cache drive at 2.38MB/s instead of in the Mid 40's The disk I am preclearing is on a PCIE controller, it is a cheapo 2 port masscool. Everything else is on the mb sata connectors. Thanks for any info. John
