  1. Hi, Installs the docker, but can't login with admin@example, admin...??? /Lappen
  2. Great - it's working beautifully. Thanks, Lappen
  3. The "??" is when your mp3 files is tagged in v2.3. When tagged in v2.4 the titles and albums is shown correctly. /Lappen
  4. That sounds great...looking forward to hear from you later this week if you can find the time Tia/Lappen
  5. Got it running using the template made by mgworek and Capt.Insan, but as the rest of you fails scanning any files. I have tried different filenaming, different directory structure, different tags, different ID3-versions (2.3 and 2.4 and both)...but really can't get the scanning working properly. When adding one album containing multiple files, often one of the files gets scanned and the rest don't ending in sql errors. Would really love to hear from anyone who has success getting the scanning working properly. Tia/Jacob
  6. Would love to hear how you got it running. /tia Lappen
  7. Personal Music Streaming server Koel is looking great and I was hoping that someone could make a Docker for it or help me out getting it running on my UnRAID? https://github.com/phanan/koel Tia/Jacob
  8. I've tried the 2 LAN ports and same result. The 3rd LAN port is dedicated to IPMI I believe? /Lappen
  9. Hi, thx for your advice. I've started this thread about my problem: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=41104.msg390577#msg390577 I'll try to run a memory test to see if there is a problem with my ram. Didn't knew that memory could cause problems with network dropouts. If everything looks ok i'll try with an add-on NIC. /Lappen
  10. Thx for your input. Hmmmm.....it looks very very nice, but i think its expensive, at least in Denmark it is.... Any other options a little less pricey? /Lappen
  11. Hi, Having a lot of trouble with my existing setup. I am having lots of network dropouts and I have tried about everything to figure out whats wrong - with no luck. Therefore, i would like to buy a new motherboard, CPU and ram. But what should I buy? I would love to have some input from you guys. My rig is shown in my signature and the main use is as fileserver but also Plex, Nzbget, music-server. Thanks in advance Lappen
  12. Thank you. Any ideas what I can do next to solve the problem?

  14. I'm really out of ideas... To eliminate any switch or router, I connected my laptop directly to my Unraid box with a crossover cable. Ran some speedtests and still getting 40 Mbps write to the cache drive and 450 Mbps read. On the Unraid GUI I can see some network drops when receiving. Could it be the onboard NIC on my motherboard thats faulty? Can I do some other tests to narrow down the problem. Tia/Lappen
  15. Thanks for your replies. I'm writing directly to the cache drive and not a share. I'll try to make some tests writing to different disks and shares with and without cache enabled...just to see the differences. I'll try another source...but sourcedrive is also ssd. I'm wondering if it could be the onboard NIC? What's the prober way to measure transfer speeds? tia/Lappen

    Network speed?

Thank you for your reply...i'll get back with my test results asap. /Lappen
  17. Hi, I'm wondering if my Unraid box is performing as it should. I have measured my speed when copying to my cache drive to 30 Mbps. This is a 1Gb wired Macbook Pro to my unraid box where cache drive is SSD. Is it a fair transfer speed? Or could someone guide me in performing some other tests to see if my setup is in perfect condition. Tia/Lappen

    Network speed?

Hi, I'm afraid that my network speed between my unraid server and my clients is not optimal. Could someone guide me through how to test the speed? It looks like i'm connected with 1000Mb/s, but the LED indicators on my switch indicates that it's only 100Mb/s??? Furthermore I can see that I have som network drops. I should be noted that i'm using Cat6 cables between router and Unraid server and the distance between router and switch is 20 meters. Tia/Lappen
  19. I'm in the process of organizing my collection, and i'm using Yate from http://2manyrobots.com for tagging and organizing. Yate is truly powerful and once you get to know the strength of it's "actions" it makes tagging and organizing quick and easy. The developer is very helpful and devoted. I'm creating symlinks to files and folders based on the tags. In that way I can access my music in a lot of ways depending on my needs, and without moving and reorganizing the files in itself. Yate is OSX only.
  20. Thx switchman The end objective is to be able to access the files in a share just like if the files were on my local harddrive (i.e. mounted volume), and if possible that up to 5 different users can access the files each from their own client. Can someone help in setting up the OpenVPN solution for unraid and guide me to my end goal? Tia/Lappen
  21. Hi, been a long time Unraid user and very happy about it, but I need some help. I want to access my shares when abroad and not home. I suppose I need to use some sort of VPN-solution (OpenVPN?), but I need help setting my client and server up? Or is it possible that there might be other solutions than VPN? Tia/Lappen
  22. Hi, I use the same setup, and I used to have the same scripterror, but not anymore. The reason I am using NZBtomedia, is that I had a lot of trouble with files being cut-off, when NZBDrone moved files from download folder. I now use the NZBtoNzbdrone script and it is working perfectly. I had some trouble with the NzbDrone API key, so make sure its the right key. /Lappen
  23. Hi, I'm also having some difficulties with my permissions and moving files around. Sparklyballs (feels funny writing that), could you share how you got NZBGET up and running in the VM? Tia/Lappen
  24. Best practice? Hi, first of all, a big "thank you" to ironicbadger for all the hard work you put into this. Your guides and posts have helped me a lot in understanding all the possibilities in the unraid6/XEN solution. Beeing a novice in all of this, I have some questions. When running applications (i.e. PMS, nzbget) do you store the libraries, transcoding-files and configuration files in the vm or outside the vm? (Of course the media files in itself are stored in the unraid array) Is there any performance difference in or out the vm? How do you choose the right amount of vcpus, ram, imagesize? Of course, it depends on what you want to do with your VM When do you choose to make another VM instead of fitting it all into one VM? Sorry if any of these questions already have been answered somewhere else. Again, i'm all new to this and trying to learn the basics of do's and don'ts regarding VMs. Tia/Lappen
