  1. Yeah I was just reading about Appdata backup. That was my major concern. Having my dockers and appdata on an “unprotected” single drive. Having the appdata backed up to the array on a schedule would eliminate those concerns for me. Thanks, Scott
  2. Hello, I have been running Unraid for years and never had a cache drive, I know, I know....LOL. I didn't realize what I was missing. I have added an NVMe 512gb cache drive and moved my dockers and downloads folder onto it, and wow, what a difference. I now have another NVMe drive that is the exact same one as the first. Should I mirror that existing drive for redundancy or create another cache pool (with 1 drive in each) and split the downloads folder and docker up? Almost feels like a waste to have a 20gb docker image file on a 512gb drive that will probably never grow, but I will take the advice of someone else. Thanks, Scott
  3. Just to follow up in case it helps someone else. I was able to use the docker cp command to copy from the container to the local filesystem. Worked perfectly! Scott
  4. Yeah, exactly what I was thinking but have no idea how to do that. I know how to do it by editing a “Community Apps” docker but not this one, it just just allows me to get to the console. any idea how to do that or somewhere I can read up on that? Thanks, Scott
  5. Hello. I am a bit over my head here and could use some help. I created a SQL Server 2019 docker by following these instructions: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/linux/quickstart-install-connect-docker?view=sql-server-ver15&pivots=cs1-bash Everything has been working great for a couple of years now. I am now learning more and realized I increased my docker image to a size too big (and wasteful) due to my lack of knowledge. I would now like to size that docker image down and know how to do it the preferred way. Since this docker container was not created through Community Apps, I would have to do it from scratch....not a problem. I would however like to save the DB inside of that container. I can connect to that DB with SQL Server Management Studio but have no idea how to backup the DB OUTSIDE of the docker container...LOL I realize this should be simple but I am just not up to speed with all of that yet...but am learning. I understand how the Volume Mapping works but it appears my docker container does not have any mapped. Is this something I could do manually to accomplish what I want to accomplish or is there and easier way. Like I said, I just need to be able to backup my Sql DB somewhere safe so I can restore it after I recreate the Docker.img file. Here is the container, if that helps: Thanks, Scott
  6. Thanks for everything!!
  7. Crap, I never hit the Check for Updates button. So sorry, I don't know why I didn't see that. It's updated now. Thanks for all your work on this and please give me a pass on this one ?
  8. Sorry, I wasn't trying to be a jerk ? I normally update from the Docker page when it shows there is an update available. Sorry, I am fairly new to Docker in general. Will it show there is an update there (it currently does not) or do I have to update it another way. I currently have 3.2.28 and inside emby it says 3.2.30 is avaialble but I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to update through Emby directly. The Docker page show up to date. Thanks for being patient with me.
  9. Amy chance this would be updated soon. There is a fix for guide data on live tv I am waiting for Thanks, Scott
  10. I know this is a stupid question but I am new to VPN. I set all of this up and did not run into any problems. My question is this though, I know you are connected through a VPN when the torrent is downloading but do you need to worry about when you actually click the link on your browser that is not VPN connected. For example, I am on my laptop with no vpn and in Chrome I click a torrent link which automatically sends it to Deluge on my Unraid box which is connected through VPN. My laptop was not connected to VPN when I clicked the link, is that a problem? Thanks!
  11. @gridrunner, thanks I will give that a shot. I would prefer to enter the password each time for security reasons. Using the ovpn on my iPhone prompts for password but I never thought of using that on Windows. I thought I had to use the pre-made msi. Thanks, Scott
  12. Ok thanks!
  13. Sorry if this has been asked before but does Play Random work on a tv series level in the docker version. I have a emby server running on a windows machine and use the windows media center client to watch. I am able to click play on a tv series and choose Play Random which will play an episode from any season of that show. i switched my server to the docker, still using Windows Media Center to watch, and I can no longer click play on a TV series (it does nothing) but I can do it on a Season level. we use this ALL the time. Thanks, Scott
  14. Is anyone running this with the "Allow Auto-Login" unchecked? I tried doing that and re-downloading the MSI to my windows machine, uninstalled old client and installed new one. When I goto connect I get prompted for my password (which is what I want) but it never connects, saying it cannot establish a connection. I re-added the check to "Allow Auto-Login", re-did the install process and it works fine. I tried several times before I realized the problem was trying to run it without "Allow Auto-Login" checked. Thanks, Scott
  15. WOW...thanks alot. I can't wait to try it out. Thanks so much and I will let you know what happens.
